Lovely walk with the kids. And live the fact there was a Halloween trail for the kids.

Lovely stretch of woods, great for a short walk. Lots of dogs off lead so great for doggy socialisation. Always nice seeing the Swan and the ducks as well.

Done a great job in recent years. Much more accessible and the lake is much cleaner. Great place for a little adventure with kids

Lovely walks, but only if you can get parked. Don't let this put you off. If you don't like it, 1.6miles around the corner is Roundhay Park.win win.Enjoy.

nice run on a mtb. lots of rats. sticklebacks and goldfish seen in the lake. heard a woodpecker. The information board says kingfishers are there, I'm calling B.S on that, never seen one in twenty years, only at Settle, where there IS a big enough colony of fish to eat. Replace kingfisher" with "Rats" and its truthful."

People have no idea that this beautiful curated woodland is on our doorstepThe paths are well thought out and easy for most people of moderate ability to enjoyFun for a short stroll take the 2,3, 3a or 36 from town on a bright day and walk from the Queens Pub/Toby Carvery down the hill and get any bus back to town along Roundhay Road and youll feel like you had a day out
