They ruined my coat, they tried to fix it, they failed. Then my coat was sent for testing, whatever this means, then got lost. They refunded the cost of the coat but that took over a month. Noone ever contacted me regards the update,I had to visit the store every week, sometimes twice a week, everytime they lied to me saying the coat is being tested.. it Never did.. Got lost... Not professional at all!!I don't recommend it!!

The shop was closed for over half an hour from 2.10pm to 2.40pm despite the opening times being advertised as 8.30am to 5.30pm and no mention on the website whatsoever of closing breaks.Refused to widen shoes despite previously receiving the same exact service at the same store. Deeply unprofessional service. Would not recommend.

My wife had brought me a watch as a gift a few years ago. A Citizen, with an ecodrive. This was not massively expensive, but it has huge sentimental value. The watch went to Citizen when the Capacitor failed. They returned the watch saying they would no longer fix it. What does this have to do with Timpson I hear you ask. Well it went to their service center all fixed and working. Awesome Maidenhead Team.

Excellent. I have had keys cut and a watch adjusted in this shop. Both times have been impressed by the speed, reasonable price and helpful member of staff. Would recommend!

My wife left a suit and white shirt to be dry cleaned in the Maidenhead branch and when we came on the day to pick it up they couldn't locate it. I explained that I need the suit for the next day as I have a meeting and the staff member told me that he'd call me. After receiving no call I went back to the shop at which point he chased the launderette again. They said they think they'd found it but as his colleague had left I'd have to drive there to pick it up. He said that as we hadn't paid yet he would waive the fee. I told him that my wife had already paid and showed him the receipt. At which point he said Ok no problem then." So we received no compensation for the mishandling despite being told he would waive the fee.After driving across town to the Launderette to pick up my suit I get the shirt back and it looks like there are brown marks on the sleeve.The customer support channels for this company are insufficient and I feel totally let down by this experience. I feel even more let down by the fact I can't even raise an official complaint.There is a mystery shopper feedback form on their website which I have used and will update the post if any action is taken."

A tiny day-indicator on my watch broke loose and I wanted it removed. It jammed the other hands every few days, causing the watch to stop until shaken. Two other shops quoted 40 pounds and four weeks to send it away. Timpson's quoted 15 pounds and two hours, and their on-site repairer delivered. Very satisfied.

Lovely guy working there today, seemed to really care about the customer and enjoy his job! Replaced my watch battery in a few minutes, no faff. Refreshing!
