I can only say that Kelly at Belvedere did everything in her power to make this awful journey bearable. Her compassion, empathy and understanding of how people feel at this time is shown time and time again. She is so in the right job. Also must also praise Donna and her team again for empathy and compassion shown on the day of the funeral. Donna in particular for guiding my daughter in carrying her grandad. They are all a credit to themselves and their company. Would have no hesitation in recommending them.

Kelly and her team are amazing. We have used Ashdown twice within the last 5 months and on both occasions the compassion, understanding, kindness and professionalism of Kelly and her team have been outstanding. After losing my mum very suddenly and never arranged a funeral before, the whole process felt very daunting. Kelly at Ashdowns, Belvedere was simply amazing, my absolute saviour. She put my mind at ease and offered me such a professional and personal service. She was wonderful with my children and she went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. Matthew and the rest of the team were absolutely fantastic on the day and they couldn't do enough to make us feel special at a very difficult time. Would highly recommend. Wonderful Service!!After the passing of our Mum we contacted Kelly at Ashdown. Kelly provided us with an absolutely First Class and caring service throughout the whole sad process, she was always available for viewings and even opened up special for us to see Mum, she answered all of my many questions with a kind heart & professional attitude and nothing was too much trouble. Kelly also helped us arrange a fabulous video tribute & set up a ‘Just Giving’ page for MacMillan Cancer Support.On the day of the funeral Matthew & the other members of staff helped us through the difficult day and gave Mum a wonderful and fitting send off.This is a genuine review and on behalf of my family I would like to thank Kelly and the staff at Ashdown Funeral Service for the excellent service they have provided us.

One amazing placeI would like to take time to thank Kelly who is one amazing person making us all feel so comfortable and relaxed when planning my nans funeral. Nothing was to much for Kelly at all and always keeping my updated on everything that was happening along the way. I would also like to say a big thank you to the embalmer that gave me and my family extra time with my nan to say our goodbyes he done one amazing job my nan looked like she was just fast asleep.the care of my nan was amazing they looked after my nan so well and I was at peace of mind knowing my nan was being looked after so well. I would also like to thank Mathew who walked with my bother aged 16 with learning disabilities walk out my nan out the road and made him feel so comfortable and made sure he comforted him to and made the day of the funeral service amazing. And also a thank you to Donna to for the support. Kelly I really can't thank you enough for all you have done for my family you are one treasure of ashdowns the support off Kelly is amazing thank you. The Chapels are so nice to it makes you feel relaxed in the rooms it's like being in a bedroom at home they are clean and smell so clean. The funeral arranger Kelly provided amazing support and advice to me and my mother for my father's funeral.The funeral director Donna came to our home with Nick to collect the body of my father and were very respectful and dignified in performing a difficult task. Donna conducted the funeral procession and the process was flawless.The hearse and limousine were beautiful vehicles and the drivers and bearers performed their jobs perfectly.I would certainly recommend Kelly as a wonderful funeral arranger. She has amazing humanity. She is also a qualified funeral director.I would also recommend Donna as an excellent funeral director.A big thank you for the help making my fathers service a wonderful tribute to him.

I couldn’t have felt more at ease with the arrangements for my Dad’s funeral. I must first mention Kelly, the funeral arranger, an incredible person who manages to balance the highest level of professionalism with empathy, kindness and compassion. I felt like I was with a friend, which is exactly what I needed at an extremely difficult time in life. I made the decision to see Dad, after a lot of thought, and I made the right one - the embalming team did a wonderful job and it felt so natural to be with Dad. On the day itself, Donna, the funeral director, was amazing and carried out her role with such dignity and respect, but with love and kindness, too. Thank you so much to Kelly and the rest of the team, I will never forget how brilliant you are.
