Garden Veterinary Group, Corsham

Thank you so much to the amazing staff at this vets. My Bunny unexpectedly died, i rung up and asked about arrangements for them to take her and to give her a little bunny funeral as i couldnt do them myself where i am living. the lovely receptionist got me registered on the phone and said i could take her in straight away. My partner took her up to the vests and asked if they could cremate her with her favourite toy and they were so lovely towards him and compassionate. Thank you to all for making this process very easy and stress free after a very upsetting afternoon.

Our experience via zoom with Chippenham Garden Vets during lockdown 1 was exemplary- the vet diagnosed our cat accurately over video and prescribed some medication that really helped him. However today, we had to take our hamster in to Corsham practice and; COVID lockdown 3 notwithstanding, my 8 year old son and I left within 12 minutes of arriving feeling bereft at the loss of our pet without any real customer care or explanation. We know that we took care of Teddy extremely well: we cleaned his cage weekly as always on Tuesday and he was his usual self: scaling the bars like Spider hammy. On Wednesday evening I noticed he hadn’t eaten all of his food which is unusual, but he was in his little cosy hole so I let him be. Thursday I realised there was a serious problem with his eye so booked for him to go in Friday: I was working all day Thursday unfortunately. When we asked how on earth he went downhill so suddenly, I felt I was given short shrift and told it could’ve been a chest infection before the eye infection, either way he’s run down and suffering. I appreciate the best way forward was euthanasia but I would’ve like some more time with us to explain the possible ways this sudden illness or decline came about.

We have been using the Garden Veterinary practise for the last 16 years. They have been a great help with the care of our 3 dogs (one of whom is blind, has a heart murmur and a myriad of allergies).The knowledge, skill and great good sense of all the vets and all the nursing staff, in Corsham and Chippenham, have been a boon to our pets, (including the pets of our visitors ... even giving overnight care to an aged Spaniel who thought it was a good idea to roll over a wasps nest) and afford us peace of mind. Their care and attention are second to none.Highly recommend this practise.

You have an excellent team both at Corsham and Chippenham. The professional service and time the whole team provide us is first class. Keep it up and we always recommend you when asked about vet services.

Jane at Corsham vets is fabulous and i always feel satisfied with her knowledge and thorough process of when my dogs have needed medical attention especially one of my dogs needing regular medical treatment. Would recommend Corsham vets and the care at Chippenham when I have been there . Friendly receptionist too . Well done Corsham .
