I approached Eden for a quote for a new supporting wall and the installation of ACO (channel) drainage. Giles arrived at the prearranged time and carefully took measurements before discussing lead times and job duration. A few days later he sent a quote which was reasonable and we accepted. He started the work on the agreed date, arriving on time and getting straight on with it. The weather was not on our side and there were therefore delays but these were unavoidable, if irritating. Both of of us were pragmatic in the circumstances and work progressed. Giles undoubtedly takes pride in his work and regularly stood back checking before making minor improvements. The standard was all I could expect and he invariably cleaned up on a daily basis. Any problems were countered with practical solutions and at the end of the job I had exactly what I asked for and done to a high standard of workmanship. I would recommend him to anyone who asked and although my requirements were not a big job he was perfectly happy to fit it in. If you want something done from fencing to a large landscaping task he is, in my view, a sound choice.

From the start of our contact with Giles we were impressed with his understanding of what we wanted and his comprehensive quote. We were pleased that he was able to advise on the material to be used on our terrace and steps (his advice to visit the supplier was most useful). The work started in mid May and carried on for 4 weeks as expected. Throughout the time he was here he carried out every aspect of the work with great attention to detail starting with clearing and preparing the site right through to the final stages of laying the slabs, pointing and the final clear up. Every day he cleared his work space and made sure our drive was clear of any drops of concrete etc.Giles was always professional and friendly, it was a pleasure to have him working here for the four weeks and his brother, Lawrence, for the first week. We are more than pleased with our beautiful new terrace and steps and have had many compliments from friends and neighbours who have seen it.
