What a fantastic venue for a wedding reception. Beautiful function room, the staff were impeccable, the food was gorgeous. Can't imagine a better town centre location. And just pop in to visit the grand hall. It's spectacular.

Disappointed. It states that os open until 8.30pm. I have arrived at 5.30pm and when I arrived there I was told that everyone went home at 5pm, só I was unable to visit.

We attended our good friends wedding here, it was such a beautiful day and we had a great experience. The building has some stunning architecture details. The main room has a real state of grandeur about it, everywhere you look is packed with wonderful décor. If you're thinking about getting married here, I would highly recommend it.

Beautiful place for photographs, including the iconic two telephone boxes around the corner. Majestic architectural features. Just a short walk to All Saints church for more photographic inspiration.I didn't actually go into the guildhall, but the walk around the exterior was breathtaking. I believe you can get refreshments here, though please don't quote me on that! If not All saints does have a coffee shop.The outside of the guildhall was fantastic for some plane air painting, with the colour of the stone, the columns and archways in the different lights are glorious. A lovely town to visit.
