As others of highlighted, very poor work by these contractors on our new Bloor home.As highlighted on other post house built on late 2022 however has had a BG dual RCD board fitted, meter tails run over 10meters through the fabric of the building with probably no mechanical protection and RCD.Sockets have loose wire connections, ethernet connectors are of very poor quality cables don't fit in unless you push the cover button by screw. The wire colours are mismatch. They have cut corners where ever they can...Why would builders like Bloor use them.. when reviews are so poor..

Avoid this company at all costs. I turned up to a client house new build property that Clarkson Evans had previously wired a year before, no earth sleeving used throughout the property, the fuse board was fixed with two tiny screws as long as loose connections in the fuse board oh and a burnt out immersion due to another loose connection. Avoid this company at all costs soon they will no longer exist due to there awful work, a blind person could do a better job than this company

Ethernet sockets are very low quality.Colours of wire used are non UK standard.All they point is the meeting regulations. Un professional

I recently bought a new build property which had been wired by this company, very poor standard of work, every ceiling fan was completely off square to the walls, batten holder flickering as cable had not been folded back on itself and overtightened so neutral was snapped barely making contact, switches not wired logically to the room, house completed in September 2022 however has had a BG dual RCD board fitted, meter tails run over 10meters through the fabric of the building with probably no mechanical protection and RCD, only a 100A isolator instead of switch fuse with a suitable fuse fitted, no fillet seal on outside light at the top meaning it was filling up with water.

If you see an Evans Clarkson sticker then be afraid, unfortunately Taylor Wimpey use them.I've had a number of issues with electrical items, but the worst was this poorly wired plug that was fitted on a fixed wire washing machine.The appliance had been arcing due to a poorly wired connection, as the pictures show the sheathing was not fully removed and probably had a loose neutral wire.Evans Clarkson refused to accept this as proof despite the work being under warranty with Taylor Wimpey. I'm just glad I got a competent electrician in.

Really unfortunate experience with this company. We had an appointment today between 8am-12pm, waited in all morning. I phoned the company at 12:10 asking if someone was coming as we had to go out, I was told they would find out if someone was coming and call me back.An hour later still no call back, phoned again, they said they'd find out and call me back... 2 hours later no call back. Phoned again - transferred to the wrong department, transferred again - on hold for 10 minutes - told we would get a call back. Another 30 minutes pass and we receive a call to say no one is coming because the bathroom like never came in to stock....... Where was the call to let us know what was going on? Really awful service.

Zero stars if possible. Trying to get hold of anyone is impossible. Wanting to get the electrics fixed in my home and it's impossible. Wishing I hadn't gone with shared ownership as cheap work, cheap labour, poor outcome. Shame because I've still paid a lot of money for a shambles of a build!!

I had this company wire my new build property. Absolutely poor quality of checking workmanship. Outside light not wired correctly and allowing rain water to get through to the electrical box causing electrical fault within the property.

Highly unreliable and dishonest company. Fails to attend when booked in for work, very poor admin, and providing misleading information to other parties involved.

Absolutely poor service. They are sending people to customers who do not have experience , do not know how to fix easy things what's more they broke something what worked properly before their visit. On last visit electrician had to only swap the power socket after 3 hours job he left 10 small holes in the wall around and left. Unfortunately Taylor Wimpey use them so I have no choice as i bought house from them. Avoid them
