We used Special Event Tipis for our wedding and i wish i could give them more than 5 stars! They were brilliant from start to finish. Everyone mentioned how amazing the tipis were on our wedding day and we were overwhelmed with how brilliant the team were. We would have no hesitation recommending Special Event Tipis to anyone. We planned a destination wedding for our couple in Scotland and had the absolute pleasure of working with Special Event Tipis. Kate and team were incredible to work with and ensured that no detail was missed. The team went above and beyond to help us plan this wedding from afar. When we arrived onsite, everything was set up according to plan, allowing us to focus on other wedding details. We hired Special event tipis for our wedding in September, and working with them has been an absolute joy. When we moved our wedding due to covid, Kate was so supportive and made everything as easy as possible for us. We went to several open days and was so impressed at the beauty of the tipis that we knew we'd made the right choice. We even picked up some tips and tricks like making our own napkins from muslin! We had some horrible weather in the lead up to the day, but the team set up the tipi with no fuss and helped us along the way with making sure that the tipi was in the best place possible. Special Event Tipis was a fantastic wedding supplier to work with from start to finish. We organised our wedding from New Zealand (without ever seeing the venue!) and Kate's knowledge of our Silverholme, her ideas for how our tipi could look and function, and how she and her team connected with our other suppliers to help us make the day run smoothly was really appreciated. We used special event tipis for our big day, it was the most amazing venue totally personalised for us and exactly what we wanted. The weather can change quickly in the Lake District and special event tipis were on hand to change our layout last minute when the weather decided to change its mind, I was so grateful for this and the quick set up by the professional team meant we had more time than we had initially planned to get our decorations in order. We 1000% made the right decision to have a tipi wedding and this company met all of our requirements. The fact that the venue was made for us in our chosen location and enjoyed for a full weekend with our post wedding BBQ made it not just a day to remember, but a whole weekend full of amazing memories! Thank you to Kate for being available throughout the full 12 months, from meeting you at your open day, right through to our wedding date, for answering all of my text & call queries without hesitation. Thank you to Dave & the team for the quick & efficient set up and last minute changes that you were happy to come back to the site to alter for us, to ensure we had the best weekend possible in the typical British summer weather. Special Event Tipis were great from the day we booked them for our wedding day to the big day itself. Kate was always at the end of the phone or laptop, even when I made a mistake with the tables. When we had an issue with the heater tripping the generator someone was also there to solve the problem in a couple of hours. The atmosphere of the tipis suited our relaxed garden wedding perfectly and our guests loved them. If you are looking for tipis for your wedding day, Special Event Tipis is the place to go! I can't recommend this company enough for tipi hire!They were accommodate, experiences and friendly, we hired a tipi for our wedding and they made it so easy and thought of everything we needed (and things I hadn't considered). The process was easy and well priced for everything we got.Thank you.
