Still not taking black bags. Tip treasures shop is still closed, but all other types of recycling are open. May well have to queue and be prepared to show proof of Swansea residency.

Would not waste my time you will be there all day walking up and down, bit here and bit there and the rubbish police who work there are not very helpful and so many of them about 12 in Swansea bailing plant no wonder poll tax is so high.And to be honest I only go there with what has been fly tipped as I have a private road and everything is being dumped and council don't want to know as it's private land.Shame on Swansea council you are a total waste of time, total shambles.

Communication very poor checked web site b/4 travelling site telling me open 730-430pm got to site found to be closed until further notice someone needs to keep council tax payers like myself informed better

Had to queue but only a short time. I had come from Gorseinon. It is a pity that it is a small amenity depot spend some money to make it bigger the council let more houses to be built but do not increase. The size of the amenity depot.

In reply to Ann, I can guarantee you that its first come first served at the Baling-Plant Shop, Nothing is ever put aside for the 'Booters'Those booter guys just hang around the shop ALL DAY LONG, or visit multiple times a day--Every day, as you know if you've or your friends spent Any time there, so it then Appears that they get preferential treatment--They get--because they are there at the time items come in.No Preferential treatment at all,--Simples!.....

I go to the Baling Plant a lot, it's always busy with commercial vehicles large and small. It's quite straightforward: each vehicle is weighed on the way in and on the way out. The difference is paid for in incremental amounts. I normally only pay a tenner because my van can't take more volume.

Terrible site the staff just walk around pretending they are security guards. My 70 year old mum who has really bad legs visited today 15/2/20 really struggled with what she wanted to recycle and not 1 member of staff offered assistance. Typical Swansea council staff

I can really understand why people fly tip now.. just took my small van in there and now I can’t tip because I need a permit and when you do get it you can only use it 12 time a year.. my van is my car what a shame Swansea city council..I don’t see no sign on they’re web site saying about vans... they make up the rules as they go

I periodically visit the Tip Shop for bargains. The staff are friendly and helpful and the prices are give away. It's great to be able to recycle stuff bought there and knowing the money goes into more recycling.
