A cheap and cheerful pub with a great beer selection and reasonably priced. Lovely interior and worth a visit if nearby. They had live music when we last visited which was good although it finished quite early.

Please visit when you visit Manchester. It is a traditional pub with a warmth and atmosphere that will not disappoint. So good we returned twice during our 4 hour visit. The regulars are all friendly and engaging. Top drawer

Went there today after a while but only stayed for a couple of minutes as card machine wasn't working properly. Staff rudely and abruptly pointed out I was just paying 1£ and it was my fault - I tried to pay both with my mobile and card but didn't work. They usually do, though-! I replied they should improve their card machine only to be told it worked for anyone else. As if! Regardless, they should learn some costumer service skills if don't want to lose costumers. Some reviews here say it all!

Busy at bar. Barmaid was quite snotty when I pointed out she was about to serve a group of guys who had just walked past me where I had been waiting barside for ten minutes 'I'm in charge' actually came out of her mouth and she would have served them had they not kindly waved me ahead. It was then a surly serve. We didn't stay for another.
