Great place for Bearded Reedling. Best before 10am when there is little or no wind. Great hides, easy parking. No other facilities

Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve
It's a good nature reserve - cracking ramble at t'other end to car park round a little hamlet (name escapes me). Slight downgrade because of dog restrictions in recent times. Obviously not a problem if you don't have/care for dogs.Top fact - it's the number one UK site for the lesser spotted Bill Oddie....saw dozens there

Nice place to walk, l can't say peaceful as cyclists on an organised run! Why cycle through a nature reserve? It's possible to find a peaceful areas off the beaten track where they can't go!

Great place for spotting wildlife, I am no expert but managed to see a Comorant drying his wings and a Heron stalking his prey. Free parking and plenty of signs to the various Hides

Amazing place to visit for wildlife and especially bird watching, with other sites very nearby, like the hawk and owl trust, and Avalon marshes centre. Load's of walks all around this area ...take your binoculars!!!

First visit despite having lived relatively locally for over 25 years.Beautiful walks around the wetlands, looking forward to returning later in the year with some binoculars.Great work from Wildlife Trust, the hides are good.

Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve
Visited on a very wet August day. Didn't walk that far. But the area is very nice with lots of different walks to try for another time when it's drier.

Westhay Moor National Nature Reserve
Fun times had by all. But bring wellies as it can got muddy! Lots of great bird hides to be found here. Kids enjoyed it to. Although we forgot the binoculars. Took a few snaps of the birds and fish I did find without the binoculars. #pokemongo
