Cowgate Student Accommodation
This is the best accommodation that I’ve ever stayed in the UK and I’ve had a great time here. All the staffs at the reception are very friendly and easy to communicate with, especially Carla, James and John, they are very enthusiastic and help a lot with my stay. For each festival, there are always unexpected surprise events and gifts that make me feel at home here. Perfect location in the heart of the city, one minute walk from the Royal Mile and within 6 minutes walking distance to the train station. Shopping centres and attractions are basically within 10 minutes walking distance. Well-equipped rooms, good views! Really enjoy my stay here!

Living in 200 Cowgate is wonderful since the location is good and it’s convenient to do almost everything: near to the Royal Mile, near to the university, and lots of stores nearby. There is free breakfast every month and the staff are all warm and kind.

It's a pleasant place to live, although the bar is a bit noisy at night. Tyler's the best reception here. Very enthusiastic and quick to answer emails.

The worst student accomodation ever. The cleaning was not in place when checked in, and the feedback to the reception was not dealt with properly. The reception conducts frequent kitchen and room inspections with high cleaning standards despite the mess when we checked in. The receptionists are always not at the front desk during office hour. They also charge £48 when you are accidentally locked out, and the fee is not clearly communicated throughout the process. Do not recommend

200 cowgate has been a wonderful experience. The staff is wonderful and have always gone above and beyond. Location of the accommodation is perfect and you are able to walk mostly everywhere being that it is in the city center. On the weekends it can become very loud due to the clubs being across the street but the windows keeps most of the noise out. When picking a room go for the ground floor if you want more space in you bed rooms. The studios on the ground floor are also bigger than other studios. If you are going for a 4 bedroom flat try to pick room 4 as it is the biggest in the wing normally.

The location is excellent, really close to campus and many of the bars and clubs (which can get a bit loud at night). All the staff are really friendly and the property manager is super nice and really helpful. Really quick turn around with anything that you need or any problems. The wifi works well once you’re on it but data doesn’t really work so you have to connect outside the building (at least that is what I found). There is pretty much always a washing machine free but they are cash only. Overall a it’s a great place to live and the staff really do go the extra mile.

Best student accommodation. Well maintained & cozy environment. Helpful & friendly staff made me feel at home. Perfect location, forget about bus card cuz the whole Edinburgh revolves around 200 Cowgate. Decent price, wish I could stay longer.

Cowgate Student Accommodation
I’ve had an overall good experience in 200 cowgate. My room was big and spacious. The location is perfect it’s near to grocery shops, pubs, restaurants, university etc. Even though I was in the centre of pubs, there were no issues with noise as I wasn’t facing the main road. However, it can get a little noisy if you are. I also met wonderful people in this accommodation.
