I’ve bought a couple of products from Shading Specialists in the last few years, top of their game in what they do and would not hesitate to recommend.

I recently had the DIAZ range blinds fitted to 2 sets of bi folding doors. They were supplied and installed by Shading Specialists.The whole process from the initial visit to the showroom to the installation of the blinds was excellent. I was particularly impressed with how professional the installers were. I am absolutely delighted with my blinds and would not hesitate to recommend Shading Specialists.

We work with Shading Specialists on the majority of our Interior design projects and have been specifying their window treatments for the last 5 years. As well as being very responsive, they also offer advise and have a wealth of knowledge in this area. Their products are always beautifully executed and installed in time. I would highly recommend.

Terrible company to deal with - especially the owner - shocking bad to deal with.The fitter was lovely though!The Owner was that bad, that after paying a deposit and having to deal with him personally, we simply wanted to cancel and walk away.This was due to the fact that when the order was placed over the phone, it was discussed and agreed with the sales person that their quote included fabric, which made their quote comparable to others we had received. However, they later informed us that their quote did not include fabric which made their cost c.£10k more than other comparable quotes.At that point, nothing had made, we wanted to cancel, but he refused. We even offered to pay for their time on the project, but The Owner refused, saying that they would loose out on profit if they allowed us to cancel. This was obviously really disappointing because we felt they were over charging and being needlessly difficult.We reluctantly went ahead, and after a very unpleasant continuation of the relationship, the blinds & curtains were fitted.They did not provide electrical connections for the blinds. When we asked for them, they quoted £76.98 each + vat - you can buy them for less than £5 each! We queried the cost and got no reply... they were just trying to rip us off. When this was raised, we got sadly got no response.Some of the curtains didn't fit correctly, they dragged along the ground, but the voiles were fine - which were apparently made to the same length. This seems very odd, because if the voiles and curtains are the same length, how can one drag along the floor and yet the other is perfectly fine??? They advised the floor must be uneven.... This clearly does not make sense and was viewed as another attempt to be difficult and unhelpful. The most obvious explanation if they are both the same is that one of the items is clearly cut different to the other - a point they refused to acknowledge or investigate.When we queried and asked them to rectify, we were told to sort it out locally, at our own expense. Other curtains didn't hang correctly also.We then informed them that if that was there final response, we would have to take action to recover our funds. To which we were told that we were nasty" and they would not deal with us any further. Despite their reply

Fantastic service. They were really good from start to finish practical, prompt and all round excellent.They fitted an outdoor blind in a difficult spot on a sloped roof no bother. I would highly recommend them.

Excellent, well worth the trip to their Watford showroom. Comprehensive selection of blinds, awnings etc on show & very helpful and knowledgeable salesman. They offer full service including site visit to measure & installation. Would definitely recommend.

Shading Specialists recently supplied and installed some curtains and blinds for a client of mine. The work was excellent quality and the individuals who fitted the curtains and blinds were a pleasure to have in the house.

I called Shading Specialists to get some spare parts for a curtain track. I'd bought the track from another supplier. The parts I was after were really inexpensive things so there was no significant profit for them, but they took the time to help and supply me. They even set the parts aside for me to collect, the same day, from their office.

We recently purchased Silent Gliss roller blinds, which were installed by Shading Specialists. We are extremely happy and impressed with their professionalism and customer service. The entire process was smooth from start to finish. They consistently met deadlines, kept us informed throughout, demonstrated thorough knowledge of the product, and the installer was meticulous, highly professional, and worked with utmost cleanliness. It was a 5-star service experience. We are very pleased, thank you!
