Squire Archery

We did an a family archery session for my youngest child's birthday. Andrew was a great guide and it was great fun for the whole family. Thank you, Andrew. We will be back soon!

Great way to spend a couple of hours learning how to shoot from modern bows into targets under the supervision and instruction of Andrew. The equipment is good, he has a variety of games and competitions that he shows you. It’s not easy to be good at shooting arrows, at least in the first session but we all managed to hit the targets. We’ll be back.

Fantastic experience that myself and my children enjoyed. Andrew was extremely knowledgeable and patient with us as he taught us the basics of how to hold the bow and shoot at the target.He made sure the protective equipment was fitted correctly to avoid any minor injuries from occurring and we all came away very happy with how we did.Would highly recommend a visit!

I visited Squire Archery with 8 of my friends. We were all adults (and beginners) and we had the best time. Great equipment, very friendly staff and a very helpful instructor! Would definitely recommend this activity and can’t wait to revisit!

What a great experience. Never tried Archery before and really enjoyed it. The set up is very well organised and you can’t help but feel very safe and supervised at all time. A lovely way to spend some free time.

I took my two grandsons aged 10 and 15, and we had a super time. Andrew is very knowledgeable, and helpful. I was even hitting the bulls eye with his expert teaching, and would recommend it for anyone, whatever the age. Will definitely go again.

I took our kids (13 + 15) along to squire archery and had a great session that both the kids enjoyed. Instruction was thorough and kept everyone engaged. Had a go myself having never done it before and found it very absorbing.Lovely peaceful setting. Great activity that got all of us involved.

I am so pleased this place is open and my children had a fantastic time here learning archery.Andrew is so patient with the children and they really celebrated when they got a bull’s-eye.It’s very professionally run, when we arrived, we had the safety talk and Andrew explained everything that needed to be done. He even made the leather gloves which you wear when you’re doing archery and I have to say they were top quality.My girls keep asking when we can go back, and have asked if they can have a party do a archery again.If you’re looking for a safe environment to do archery, this is the place.Andrew answered emails quickly and put my mind at rest with any concerns I had.If I ask the girls, how many stars this company should get they will give it 10 stars

We had a fantastic time at Squire Archery. It is a very professional set up, in a beautiful setting. A brilliant way to keep the kids (and adults) entertained and a super fun way to try out a new activity. Andrew is a great instructor and even got us involved in some games to test out our new skills! We finished off with an al fresco picnic in the Thriplow sunshine - what more could you want!
