Lots of good walk for all family

This is a great little nature reserve, with a range of habitats, including a pond. This makes it a good place to take kids for a walk in the countryside, with plenty of wildlife birds, rabbits, squirrels, etc plus a range of fungi. It has a small car park with picnic tables. In addition there are more tables and benches around the site.The reserve is managed by a local volunteer group who are gradually transforming this old coal pit.

Nice wood

Beautiful woods looked after by an amazing and inspiring local wildlife volunteer group. Best walked around during dry weather.
