Tool Hire - Great service from the tool hire dept. Fabs is very helpful and friendly to deal with. Delivery and collection is as agreed, communication is good and the hire plant is well serviced and maintained. I even got to first use a brand new mixer! - seemed a shame to make it dirty! A good job done.

Excellent customer service from Travis Perkins. Had some MOT, Gravel and boards delivered when I was out and for security the boards were wedged under the gravel. TP came back out to move the bags as I needed the boards first. No questioning or anything else, they were just happy to help.

I have been using this branch for 25 years and have always found the team to be knowledgeable, helpful and very polite. The guys in the yard do not get enough credit, they always come straight up to you to offer assistance and are always friendly and nothing seems too much for them. The counter staff are also great at what they do and always have a smile.

From the start; we phoned for a quote for some red hardwood, 1x2 planed which we had purchased before from another branch, all good so far, the quote was okay & we were told that the material was in stock & could be delivered next day. Then we found a cheaper quote so TP matched it ! So we paid over the phone & arranged delivery but somehow now there is no stock as previously stated, it’s worth mentioning also that every time they said they would call back, they took hours & every time we called they seemed bemused by our order number.So we have a delivery date sorted out for a delivery but then a delivery just arrives out of the blue & the materials they were attempting to deliver didn’t remotely resemble our order !After some phoning, there is no stock, there never was stock & now the company never even sold the product !?I had heard enough - Refund please.Days go by, no refund, phoned them again to be told they did the refund days before.Days go by & the refund was in, dated the day we phoned to enquire where it was, so all in all the staff there are extremely incompetent & they lie !

Store rang to bring delivery forward, not ideal with an hours notice but it meant we got slightly longer with the machinery. The delivery driver was very helpful in getting the machinery into the house and tucked out of the way for me until my partner was home to use/manouvre. Would use again but advise booking with more notice. Ticket contract number 0170P0000
