Wellingborough Road Dental Surgery

Nothing but praise for this surgery. On my last visit, I saw a new dentist. He was amazing. He has a relaxed personality that makes you feel relaxed. He is also what I would call an honest dentist. Dentist like him are very rare, and are the reason I keep returning for regular check ups.

Dr S Patel really is excellent, and he's the primary reason for this review. He's friendly, calm, professional and just an all-round expert in dentistry! The staff are all really walk and welcoming too.

Dr Patel is very good, as a nervous patient he instils calm and is very professional and friendly, the rest of the staff from the receptionist to the dental nurse are all very good. Many thanks.

Awful dentists, just try to charge you and make money. I paid a deposit to book an appointment and missed the appointment due to my father passing and they tried charging me £50 or else I would get deregistered. The deposit more than enough pays for 25 minutes of the dentists time that was missed. They’re a business who just try to maximise profits and money that was lost during the pandemic. Stay away and get yourself on a waiting list at another surgery!- In reply to the below comment- I only missed one appointment thank you which was in Feb for a filling. Do not try and cover this up by blaming it on me. I tried to reschedule the appointment and mentioned about my father passing in which you didn't care and wanted to charge the £50 regardless. If you're looking for a business and dentist that treats you with respect and dignity STAY AWAY. They have just blatantly tried to lie and mention I missed several when it was just on2 due to a reason I believe is quite substantial.

The new Dentist/Owner, Dr Patel was excellent. Friendly manner, really good dental care, understanding, not pushy, everything you want in a dentist. And that's coming from someone who usually doesn't like dentists. The building interior could do with some love, but the treatment room is spotless.

I telephoned this morning with regards to registering as a patient. I was asked to call in and fill in a form, which I did. Within 10 minutes I was registered and had an appointment. Alice on reception was very polite, helpful and professional, explaining the whole process to me.Thank you very much Alice, you are an extremely valuable asset to this practice.

I have had excellent treatment from Dr Balkhi and staff over many years. It's good to read the new owner is also excellent.

I've only been a patient at this dental practise for a couple of month but feel that I have been treated well. After losing a place at my old practise I was taken on by this practise, it's clean and very inviting, the receptionist is very friendly as are all the staff I have encountered. My treatment has been explained to me and have a had a white filling replace an old filling. The work was painless and professionally installed I've had no problems and am looking forward to being a happy patient for the future. I would recommend this practise to anyone.

My appointment got cancelled on the same day it was due without any stated reason or explanation whatsoever. I did not even get 24 hours notice. If that was the patient who cancelled on them they'd be sure to charge them a £30+ cancellation fee" however for them to be doing this is absolutely fine right? Hypocrites.I have called during opening hours many times on different occasions and receptionists keep blatantly forwarding my calls and not picking up despite the phone ringing and going through.Shocking service."

A very awful place. Went there for scaling and polishing, sadly it was not done properly. X-ray was done during consultation and I was given a treatment plan which I paid for but on the day of treatment though the dentist totally messed up and wasted my time twice... I was asked to pay another £95 for white crown. The surgeon never explained what he did nor why I m expected to pay extra. Took a pix of my teeth before the scaling and after. No difference!! Absolute waste of money and time. They don't deserve any star.
