Hair Society Salon

I found this salon after trying many in Brighton. I have curly, frizzy, difficult to manage hair. The service was not only expert and professional, but truly caring, attentive and I wholly felt listened to! I am extremely happy with how my difficult locks were styled, coloured and conditioned. Highly recommended and I will be back :)

I had my hair cut this afternoon with Jad, super happy with it, he really took the time to understand my hair and the hair cut I wanted. I think it’s my best hair cut ever! Also I don’t usually like having it blow dried as I think it looks too neat and flat afterwards, but Jad used a special technique to give a natural wavy style that I love. Thanks! Will definitely be back :)

Great experience! I had been silly and booked the wrong treatment but they had no problem at all adjusting to fit me in. I was also hugely impressed by the speed and expertise of my stylist, who immediately saw and solved a problem I had had with a previous salon, and left me feeling pretty and confident - will definitely return!

Great place, with a nice atmosphere and some excellent treatment options. Gemma was very friendly and fantastic with my hair, she listened and understood my needs and I was so happy with the finished result. Will definitely come back.

Jad worked an absolute miracle on my hair today! He really listened to what I hoped for and gave me a realistic timeline of what to expect with my hair. And overall did an incredible job! I went from pink to blonde in one session and it looks amazing. Jad seemed genuinely so committed to giving me what I wanted whilst taking care of the condition of my hair. Spending time in the salon is always lovely due to the warm and friendly atmosphere.

Incredible place. I am so glad I found them. Jad talked me through the Brazilian blow dry organic treatment. I’ve only had keratin before. He explained the process and how it differed to keratin.It has been amazing. It’s now a month and the treatment has held. Still have a little wave in my hair which I wanted and it is just silky smooth all the time. I have found my new salon and can’t wait to go back! He also did a trim for me at the same time and it’s really made my hair bounce! Absolutely LOVE everything about this place!

JAD IS A HAIR GURU! Discovered him after searching for my daughter, and noticed how brilliant he was at cutting her hair (and what a lovely man he is to boot). On our last visit I mentioned I was really unhappy with my hair - it had been cut & coloured somewhere else and wasn’t what I wanted, the two shades clashed and it looked orangey and dull. I have extremely fine hair too so when a cut goes wrong it looks awful! Jad is a highly experienced and very skilled stylist, both with colour & cut - he corrected the orangey tone and put in some amazing highlights which really pop against the base tone, plus he did a shadow root to achieve the look I had wanted in the first place. The photo doesn’t even do it justice TBH. Would recommend him to anyone! Thanks Jad!

My experience with Jad was absolutely amazing. I have 3c hair texture so it’s not easy for me to find hairdressers that can cater to my needs. It had been over a week now since Jad did my hair and it is silky, soft and my hair has never looked so shiny. This is the best hair appointment I have ever had in my life and I am so happy as it has taken me so long to find a hairdresser as experienced as him! I can’t wait for my next appointment. I can’t count the amount of compliments I have gotten since! What a talent!

Had highlights and a cut recently with Gemma. Absolutely love the results. My hair looks and feels gorgeous. The salon is a lovely relaxing environment. Gemma also offered a head massage while my conditioner was on and it was amazing. I’ll definitely be going back and I highly recommend.
