We have been working with Jane for a number of sessions during lockdown and my son has loved everyone of them, even asking when the next one would be! So much fun and it inspired me to take part in her Speech sounds workshop . It has been great and I feel able to support the children with much more confidence. I took part in a very inspiring and fun speech sounds challenge. Over the course of 5 days (half an hour sessions) I have learnt briefly about speech sounds, typical developmental ages and errors that can be made. I joined the online challenge for ideas and advice for children with possible speech language delay. Jane offers her advice and lots of practical activities to engage children. She has inspired me to continue with these style of activities with young children of all ages and abilities. I now feel I have gained valuable knowledge to further support children in my setting. I’m currently doing the free challenge with Jane and it’s been fabulous. We have tried out so many ideas with the children and have already made resources that will be useful not only for speech children but also to support our phase 1 phonics sessions at nursery. I’m loving the enthusiasm and passion Jane has for speech, her amazing pedagogical knowledge and how she has motivated the group into action. Her approach is easy to follow and her enthusiasm is infectious. She loves what she does and it shows. She also actively avoids trying to sell her products which makes you want them even more! I will certainly be looking to sign up for more of her courses and already have a lot to show for the work I have done this week. Thoroughly recommend Jane’s website and courses.

Jane was extremely helpful from the moment we contacted her for support. She showed great empathy and understanding regarding our concerns and provided us with useful and practical advice.We were struggling to get a face to face meeting with other therapists, and as Jane can only do virtual meetings she could schedule us for an appointment. In most aspects it was as as if we were sat in the room. I can highly recommend Jane if you would like to speak to a professional about your child’s development.

I'm a childminder and I have done Little Orchard Children's speech challenge 2 years running now. I'm also in Jane's support Facebook group that she has set up for practitioners where she's always so kind and helpful, and definitely knows her stuff. I have really enjoyed both speech sound challenges and the children have got so much from them. I have a set of Little Orchard Children speech sound cards which I find amazing, they have great ideas and the challenges have given some more ideas on top! Thank you Jane!

Another fantastic speech and language challenge. Jane is brilliant and has made this weeks challenges so much fun. She gives lots of support and opportunities to expand personal knowledge and guidance. She has a calm soft low pressure approach which allows people to join in at their own pace and is always there to offer further help when required. I have done many workshops and training with Jane now and would highly recommend them all to anyone. If you are looking for support, guidance and ideas then Jane is the lady to go to. She never disappoints and also offers some lovely resources to purchase on her website to support with strategies and further ideas to support children with speech and language difficulties. I already knew that Jane was a brilliant Speech and Language Therapist so had no hesitation in recommending her to my daughter. I wasn’t so sure about a zoom meeting rather than face to face, but needn’t have worried as it was just like being in the room with her. Jane’s professional but friendly manner soon had us all at ease and she soon assessed the situation and gave us some sound advice. The activities suggested could easily be integrated into everyday play and daily routines. I was recommended Jane by my little boys school as he was struggling with talking and oh my goodness I’m so glad I contacted her. I had been worried for some time about his speech and couldn’t find anywhere that would give him a regular slot or they would take ages to reply back to me or were too far away/had a backlog from covid.Within hours, I had a reply from Jane and by that evening we were booked in for our first sessions. I was a bit worried at first about it being over zoom as I didn’t know how my 4 year old would cope with sitting infront of an iPad and engage with Jane . IT WAS THE BEST THING. No pressure of being sat in front of a “stranger” (which helped as he can be quite shy) no travelling, fitted into our routine / school timings easily.My little boy looked forward to Jane’s sessions every week as she made them so personal and exciting for him with different games / activities/ print offs to work on at home all tailored to his likes and dislikes.He has done absolutely amazing and I am so proud of him and so so thankful to Jane.Jane is so knowledgeable and an expert in her field I have really valued her opinion as a professional and as a mummy herself and sought her advice for different decisions I have had to make regarding my sons education.If you need a speech therapist Jane is your woman.Thank you so much Jane I will forever be grateful to you for helping my little boy communicate effectively and give him the confidence he needed and for all the support and advice you’ve given me .Xxx

I attended the (free) Speech Sound Challenge 2021 run by Jane Wilson and had a fantastic 5 days. In a relaxed and friendly Facebook group I got an introduction to gentle, fun ways to support children with speech sound difficulties. Jane's instruction was clear and straightforward and she was generous with her time in acknowledging our posts and answering our questions. I will definitely be signing up for the next Speech Sound Support Workshop and really look forward to it.
