Boswells Cafe
Lovely café, the nicest one in Cwmbran in my opinion. Food and drink have always been delicious and the staff are polite and fast at what they do. They also offer a reward stamp system to get a free drink when you've collected enough stamps.

Have to say consistently quality food, nothing amazing or taste bud tantalising but good solid traditional cafe fayre. The staff are always welcoming and there is a bustling atmosphere, which is warm and cosy rather than packed like sardines. Our go to cafe in Cwmbran.

Went today to get some late breakfast so as expected I ordered 2 all day breakfasts. When the food arrived majority of the food was luke warm only the chips were hot. As I started to eat my egg I noticed the bottom was black. I understand this is from the griddle it was cooked on but its not excuse especially for the price. My nan had the same meal although her eggs were raw. As you can expect you can't make someone eat raw eggs. Upon complaining to a member of staff the lady replied thats how we cook them". After speaking to her a manager approached and gave us a full refund which I was pleased about. Wouldnt recommended for the price."

Nice place for lunch, I ordered baked potato and it was huge with a tonne of topping. Extremely generous! Had a milk shake which was not great, thin and too much froth which settled into half a glass. My friend had the same issue with he frappe, once again, by the time the froth settled there was only half a glass of frappe left.

Thoroughly disappointed with the all day breakfasts. £25 for two breakfasts and two drinks, and the food was literally inedible. The beans tasted like a vat of salt had been poured in them, the chips were swimming in grease. After all the lovely reviews I'd read I was really looking forward to eating here. Won't ever return.

Lovely welcoming cafe, on entering noticed just how clean it was, ordered food, the staff we're extremely polite, very polite and friendly. I had baked potato with chilli and cheese & hot chocolate orange drink. Potato was extremely tasty and very well cooked, the chill was lovely, a great flavour, really enjoyed it. It was a friendly crowd in there, lovely atmosphere, the staff were fantastic. Me and my friend had a really enjoyable time in here. Fantastic food, excellent staff, would highly recommend it & definitely be back

A wide variety of food catering for breakfast and lunch options. Proper coffee machine, milkshakes and smoothies available too. Food tastes of good quality. Caters for all markets, a mix of older groups, families, and individuals. Support for the disabled. Can often be a queue but food arrives in good time. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.

Food was ok. However the music was way too loud. I don't want to have to shout to order my food and to talk to my partner whilst we eat. Not a chill atmosphere and was quite overwhelming. It's a cafe not a club.
