Chadderton Post Office

I used to go to this post office and had the same experience as everyone ie. money missing etc.I now use Oxford street post office where they know how to treat customers.Since going there I quickly realise the difference in customer service.

Very slow service most of the time there's only 1 on the desk with the que going out the doors. Was good for couple of months till they got new people.

Dropped in today. It’s my first time to there. It’s a small messy post office.I wanted to buy second class sign for 2 parcels and 2 letters. The male assistant insisted on selling first class sign for. He said Royal Mail strike , otherwise he wouldn’t take it. Then I paid for those two parcels. I also gave him a 50g small letter and one 100g large letter. I saw usual smile on his face. I paid and I left because I was in a hurry. A few minutes later, I checked the receipt and I found he charged both large letter instead of one small and one large. Then I knew why he was smiling.Every one drops in this post office should be very careful of this FOXY and DISHONEST male assistant.

Is this place under new management?, I am not happy I been coming here for long time but this month I seen new faces behind the counter they are not professional in helping out the que is very long they are too busy on thier mobile phones chatting away please bring old staff member back as he was very good and good knowledgeable staff member other wise I am not coming again.

My package was missing. Rang Parcel Force they told me apparently I signed for parcel 5 seconds later the post office signed my parcel in. Two days later when parcel force asked to investigate and asked staff for cctv footage parcel showed up with it being open and taped in brown tape which coincidentally found in post office. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS POST OFFICE.

Never had any problems, staff are very good. Used this place quite a few times over the last 2 years.

great service staff is very kind and always help me out when i need it its the second closest post office to me however i prefer coming here as they help me out a lot and the staff are very understanding even when i come just before closing time they still greet me with a smile and welcome me asking how i can help them

Appears to be under new management, arrived late then service provided was poor. I won't be going back to this branch.

Absolute joke of a post office. I’ve had countless negative experiences with them. Some include them asking intrusive questions such as am I drug dealer when depositing money, bearing in mind small amounts. The staff are always rude and are always having arguments between themselves. They’ve miscounted my money multiple times and deposited less into my account than I had given them and make me return the next day to deposit the rest once they’ve counted the till at the end of the night and found I gave them to right amount and they miscounted. Another example was when I had given them a note to deposit into my account and he told it was fake, he continued to tear the note to prove his point but couldn’t point out any other flaws with the note. I had gotten the note from the bank and even took it back to them, which they confirmed to me it was genuine and real. Other occasions include when I’d be returning a parcel using a prepaid postage label and they would tell me the code had already been scanned and was invalid and I’d therefore have to purchase a new label. Moral of these stories, avoid this circus of a post office and take your business elsewhere
