Oxfordshire Countryside Service's maintenance of public footpaths is great if you like fighting your way through nettles. Obviously they can't mow them all in a short space of time when all the growth happens, but it wouldn't take a genius to mow the paths to their full legal width (which is generally at least a metre) during the winter in preparedness, so that when the weeds start growing there is still space to get through.

Well obviously a council that closes its eyes to helping local farmers, but on the other hand abuses its power and tries to demonstrate how much more powerful it is compared to someone who genuinely tries to help, is not an institution that deserves to exist in its current form. I suggest a new election, and I also suggest that the farmers' voices are emphasized here.

We have been waiting over a year for a response from school admissions. Staggering incompetence. They acknowledge receipt of email then swiftly ignore.

Re: Diddly Squat. You, the selfish, who are demonstrably not doing anything for the local area, should hang your heads in shame. When the farmers are forced out of business, their land developed for wind turbines, social housing, yet another out of town retail park or, more likely, a gipsy camp, you can all reflect on your appalling character assasination of Mr Clarkson. He is doing all he can to not only survive, but help other LOCAL farmers exist at all. The blame for the catastrophic loss of local farming will be yours and yours alone. Why don't you put your (clearly) personal agendas aside, and do something positive for the area?

Oxfordshire County Council provides a wide range of services, including education (schools, libraries and youth services), social services, highway maintenance, waste disposal, emergency planning, consumer protection and town and country planning for matters to do with minerals, waste, highways and education. This makes it one of the largest employers in Oxfordshire, with an annual budget of £899 million in 2013–14.The council currently consists of sixty-three county councilors and no party has no overall control. The Conservative Party, has thirty-one members, with fourteen Labour, thirteen Liberal Democrats, four Independents and one Henley Residents Group member.

Absolutely pathetic, road conditions in oxford Woodstock road, Banbury road are in poor condition like the majority of main roads. In addition the LTNs have caused traffic mayhem and has affected local businesses. It doesn’t make any sense to push traffic from the side roads all on the main road which causes more risks to cyclists and causes delays for people going to work and businesses. This in addition to Botley road closure is absolutely pathetic. The whole county council labour members need to look at themselves in the mirror.

Terrible planning department should be ashamed of themselves . Cooperative restaurant Jeremy Clarkson fantastic idea . He’s helping local farmers and locals . The decision to refuse everything he puts forward being rejected it’s pure bullying shame on you . This older generation running the planning department and parish council are appalling . What a bunch of horrible people refusing progress for farmers and the community .So glad you have been shown via media how bad we suffer at your hands . They should all resign and pay every cotswold localfarmer compensation!!!!

Useless, spend more money and time helping people rather than debating vegan meals and having a vendetta on a farmer

DISGUSTING, we at to wait 3.3 months to get our granddaughter in to a school when they said it should be only about 10 working day's and that is because we at to keep ring up every few days to find out what was going on, trying to get a bus pass for her is proving to be just as bad, they say we will ring you or email you and they never do the council is a joke and they get away with it.in the end we at to go there ourselves and demand to be seen and get a resultit's a big joke down there.

What is wrong with you people. Why stop someone from creating employment and injecting money into a local area? Extremely short sighted.
