Maria was originally recommended to me by a fellow runner to help with an ongoing injury that other sports therapists had not managed to deal with. Maria assessed my problem and her treatment and exercises got me back running really quickly.That was over 5 years ago and ever since I see Maria every 6 weeks to keep me injury free as we discuss and tackle any small niggles before they become issues and stop me running. Maria is very hands on and takes time to understand what I’m are doing in my running and other activities so the she knows the full picture.I would definitely highly recommend Stansfield Sports Injury Clinic.

Over the last few years I have injured my shoulder (operation required) damaged my knee and my back playing rugby. 3 fairly serious injuries which Maria has sorted for me and had me back playing in less time than my club physio predicted. I felt confident going to SSIC because they treat so many Pro sports people but after a few sessions you can see why... Maria's understanding of the route cause of injury gets the problem fixed rather than simply paying for a massage, which is the trap I have fallen into with others in the past.100% recommend Maria and her team to anyone.

Maria has helped me on numerous occasions over the past 6 years, from neck pain to knee pain, to more seriously severe pain/limited mobility/loss of sensation in hand arising out of a displaced disc. Maria was recommended to me about 2 years ago, and I am so thankful to have been treated by her. I initially received treatment for acute arm and shoulder pain; Maria worked wonders with a combination of massage, acupuncture and exercise advice. I was able to address long standing knee pain to great effect, which enabled me to keep cycling and to take up running. More recently after a serious cycling accident and multiple injuries Maria was there to help put me back together!! Maria always very carefully assesses your needs; it seems to me she is a very holistic practitioner who is expert at identifying and helping to address underlying issues that would otherwise maintain problems. I have used Maria and her team over the last 5 years for various injuries and have always received superb treatment and customer care. I have a knee injury and Stansfield was recommended to me by a relative. After only a few appointments with Maria and doing the exercises recommended, I have already started to see an improvement. The treatment I receive is always professional and friendly. If there is anything I don't understand Maria will explain in layman's terms without being patronising and if I have a problem between appoinments I can ring Maria to discuss it. I was worried I would not be able to practise Iaido fully again but Maria has been very reassuring and has given me confidence again.

Maria is an amazing sports injury specialist who has treated me for a back injury and post-surgery rehabilitation. She has worked wonders, both physically and emotionally and got me back in the gym, hiking and bike riding.Her diagnosis, treatment and exercise plans are second to none and I would highly recommend her as one of the best sports injury rehabilitation experts around.

I have known Maria for about 6 years now. She really is a miracle worker. She makes you feel comfortable, she asks you important, relevant questions to gain a real understanding of your issue and then does her magic. And you leave with exercises to ensure you do not undo the work she just done. I'd always recommend.

Maria has transformed my ability to enjoy going to the gym, and has also helped a problem with my neck which had been bothering me for over 20 years.
