DHL Parcel UK Depot

Don't even bother trying to track or parcel its just a waste of time.However after trying to speak to a person for several hours I bit the bullet and went through to Pocklington depot to find 3 of the most helpful people you could wish to meet.They found the parcels and sent me on my way with one of them and the location of the other.DHL, give them a pat on the back, and put them in charge of customer service.Graham.

IF YOUR A COMPANY STAY CLEAR THEY'LL GIVE YOU A BAD NAME!!terrible delivery and customer service skills my parcel as been put back for 3 days now with 3 different excuses,1st too large for van, 2nd wrong postcode on system, 3rd they said I'd clicked to collect, why would I I've paid next day deliver so now I've called company who I've purchased goods from and asked for full refund, IF YOUR A COMPANY STAY CLEAR THEY'LL GIVE YOU A BAD NAME!!

Two cards put through on two days with nothing written on them and no phone number. Tried checking online and the reference numbers didn't exist. Called and got through to someone who wouldn't listen and couldn't find the reference numbers either - obviously, I've just tried them on your system. Managed to find it from our postcode. Then told me they couldn't speak to me as it was for my wife. If someone had written on the card who it was for we'd have known who should call. Refused to redeliver and leave in safe place. Refused to redeliver to work address in same town. Offered no other solutions, continued to not listen. After demanding to speak to supervisor he went away then came back and said would redeliver to work address. Most unnecessarily difficult call we've had with a delivery company in a very long time. Every aspect of the service is unprofessional.Oh, only gave one star because it won't let me submit without doing so.

Paid £8.29 to send a parcel from Yorkshire to Scotland. Tracking No51084542026012. Delivered to local shop - barcode wouldn't scan, called DHL, got the runaround 3 times before found a helpful employee but it took 7 hours to resolve the issue before I was informed the barcode would now scan properly (Paypoint software issue apparently resolved). Took the parcel to another shop on DHL drop-off list and the shop wouldn't accept it. Had to drive across town to the original where barcode scanned properly, label printed and said goodbye to the parcel which then took 4 days to arrive.Complained and requested refund - no action and no refund - just a lacklustre couldn't care less response - plenty of other courier companies to use - DHL is not one of them - avoid !!Whilst I'm sure DHL are far too busy batting off other complaints to respond to this review, if they do reply then it'll be too little too late as they've had plenty of opportunity to resolve and were made aware of my intention to write this critical but entirely factual review prior to posting - consequently - DHL have no right to reply.

Is there not a NO STAR option? Tracking website terrible, different messages on website to robot at the Pocklington branch. Said they delivered to the local pick up store by text yet on website says they haven't. On website say they will deliver to local pick up the next day and on robot phone say the time lapse is over and I must contact the supplier.The debacle happened on my last order too:- said I had to provide the pick up code to the shop and DHL provided NO pick up code. Because it was dog food the shop owner out of kindness gave me my order and cursed DHL, ranting on how often this happens and how much they hate dealing with DHL and told the assistant to cancel receiving orders from DHL.I JUST RECEIVED A GENERIC REPLY FROM THEM Response from the ownerWe're sorry to see that you've had a poor experience. I have had to give them a star, but they don't deserve any rating. They have had my parcel since 11th October and since then I have had a variety of delivery dates; once I was supposed to have changed the date, not true, the driver couldn't find the address, obviously didn't try hard enough. I gave them a safe place, but couldn't print out the card, that was supposed to be for yesterday, no parcel. Phoned to complain, just an answer phone to rearrange delivery for tomorrow, that's now 9 days they have had my parcel. Got the number for my local depot, just got the 'dead' tone. This is obviously a company who doesn't want to be contacted, wonder why? Disgusting service!!!!!!!!!!!

Driver couldn't be bothered to drive across the small city center to deliver my parcel as it was the last one of the day, on a Thursday so took it back to the depot. Claiming he couldn't gain access to a perfectly clear, empty drive way and road that large articulated lorries easily access daily.Now I'm told it won't be sent back out until some time next week. Shocking service. Complaint also sent to the company my order was placed with about the poor service from DHL.

If I could give zero stars, I would. If you are a business owner please steer aware from DHL, not worth your time and money. They are not efficient at all. Spent the whole day waiting for my parcel which never came, had to take a day off work cause of this parcel.Please please do not use DHL you will regret itThey never answer their help phone lines either.This company should be done for fraud.
