East Surrey Hospital Emergency Room

I would like to say a big thank you to the a&e receptionist who tried to kill me. Unfortunately for you, you did not succeed. I know now, next time I have trouble with me heart I will called for an ambulance instead of sitting in the a&e waiting room for over an hour because the receptionist think I’m faking my symptoms.

I had 3 days in here, coming back and forth. I have to say the first two visits were not great, bit of a lack of communication between staff members, however, the doctors do show great care in what they do, did a lot of through testing to get to the bottom of the problem. On my third visit the doctor and nurse triaged me rapidly, despite their busyness. I had an allergic reaction to some of the medicine and they reacted amazingly well - managing to counteract the reaction quickly and where calming and professional the entire time. Wanted to say thank you, I know they are short staffed and it can’t be easy but they are definitely doing their best and have great care in how they work.

I went to A and E with a kidney pain on Saturday 29th at about 4pm I was not keen to go as my last experience at a different A and E was not easy and all the news headlines about the NHS are clearly concerning. The East Surrey team was excellent everyone was polite and professional the rigour of the assessment and testing was impressive. I would like to pass on my thanks to everyone for their professionalism and kindness which was truly impressive and appreciated.

Not acceptable waiting 4 hours why I was informed 1.5 h waiting time. Other people were seen before me even that their injury were not serious. I when I asked after 2.5 h why I am not seen yet I was told that I am next, after another hour when I asked how come I am still waiting I was informed that GP didn't turn to work. This is not acceptable why another doctor couldn't see?????I was as much in pain as others. I couldn't wait any longer as I had to close business and the incident happen at work . after 4 .5 hours waiting I had to leave with pain.

I went to A&E this morning with severe abdominal pain & recieved a PHENOMENAL level of care. I was treated very quickly, including a CT scan. Martin the porter was a delight & Bobby my nurse looked after me well, there were many others who also helped in my treatment but I didn't get their names. I would like to say a HUGE THANK YOU to all the team for such great care. All this, while the junior Doctors are striking. Thank you for all that you do every day to keep us well as a nation.

I came to the emergency at night with severe pain. I would like to THANK you the nurses from the night of 8/9 february. you helped me a lot. I was in a lot of pain and you helped me quickly.I am grateful to you. people with heart❤️

Honestly every time I've been there they have been great. When waiting for surgery it was great to have comfortable chairs and free WiFi!

Patients come for a need not because they have to. They come for treatment: it’s a shame when you see professionals like KRISTIAN, MARISSA, CLAIRE, MARTHA. RUI. ALINA neglect patients. Leave them without any dignity. Treat them with no respect. I don’t understand how families leave their loved ones without checking up on them. THESE PROFESSIONALS SHOULD TREAT THEIR OWN PARENTS OR LOVED ONES LIKE THISABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL.. shame on NHS for employing such staff.SHAME YOUR PARENTS WHO BOUGHT UP SUCH DISGUSTING INDIVIDUALS.. hope they are treated in a way to make you fix your self up… treat patients with respect. Make your parents proud. Not ashamed.ANGELA(so called dietician) you are an absolute disgrace to your profession… hope you give your loved ones same affection. AGAIN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE.. karma. Remember all of you…. You are disgusting… your parents didn’t raise anything good…

HelloI attended A&E today, and must say that I was met with some very lovely practitioners.Owen met me at the front desk and did my triage and Ethan a very competent Nursing Assistant did my bloods.And Nathan whom I saw for my diagnosis.Thankyou to you all.

So yesterday 24/3/21 I had an appointment at the Fracture clinic. I wanted to say what amazing staff and consultants they have. The patient care outstanding and always cleaning as people leave waiting area. We'll done to all.
