I have been told that a Puma helicopter from RAF Benson is waking me up every night between 11 pm and midnight, here in Milton Village in Abingdon. While I understand the training, I don’t understand why we are not informed for how long will the helicopters keep waking us up.Why don’t you send letters to thank people for their wasted time and sleep?I wish you all a good night sleep!

I used to fly the tutor here at raf benson when I was a teenager with the air cadets. I’m now in my 30s and I will never forget those incredible memories. I was lucky enough to be up here almost every weekend pretty much for flight time as no one else in our squadron was that interested so I always said yes please. I was too terrified to go upside down, but the staff were so amazing they still got me to take over control and fly the plane myself. It was the most incredible experience I just won’t ever forget. Thank you so much.

I flew a tutor plane twice for the atc, and it was very enjoyable, the second time I flew it, I got to use the flying stick much more often. Later the pilot did a loop to loop it was very fun. We were also able to see aircraft pass by, such as a helicopter. The view was outstanding I recommend this to anyone, it’s a once in a life time opportunity.

I was based there many many years ago different then no helicopters well.only 2 too many knowledge anyway things change for the better
