Harpwood Residential Home

Management of the home were very uncaring. Staff were better and took more interest in mum.Sadly mum was taken into hospital and sadly passed away. To our amazement the management did not contact us to say how sorry they were for our loss. These things matter at such a sad time and are comforting but obviously didn't cross their minds.Hope the new home has a better management in place.

I do voluntary work there all day on Tuesday's. It's a lovely home with caring staff & the food is good & the rooms are clean & tidy. You can also sit outside in the summer. The grounds are lovely too.

Good place to be

The manager, Nicola, states her beliefs are that local people are not capable of caring. What a shame.

Residents seem happy enough, but the whole place needs a thorough professional clean as it absolutely reeks of urine everywhere, it's so strong I could actually taste it.
