Dawsons Hair and Beauty Lounge

Jack's been doing my hair extensions for nearly a year now, and I simply would never go anywhere else. I always come away incredibly happy with my hair. Would 100% recommend.

Best hair experience for a long time. Went today with for a cut with Hannah and was very impressed. She listened to what i was after and then said what she thought was required and gave me a very thorough cut based on my request. My hair felt like it had spent a day at the spa! The staff are lovely, the salon is beautifully clean, spacious, light and airy. They have little touches here and there which you dont generally find: the seats for the basins are so comfortable it would be easy to fall asleep and I loved the little carafe of water that was immediately placed next to me when I sat down. They still offer you a hot drink too! There is no pushing of products, but they explain exactly what they will use on your hair and why. Definitely a 5* service and I would highly recommend a visit!

Perfect hair experience with Bella. She's super friendly, and the consultation was great as she really took time to listen to what I wanted and gave some great suggestions. Also had an eyebrow wax with Maisy, which was lovely too.

I had an appointment with Hannah, Cut is beautiful, and colour is exactly what I envisioned 10/10, All the staff are extremely professional and very friendly and always makes me feel at ease, it’s like visiting a friend! I’ve had massages with Sophie and can truthfully say I would NEVER go anywhere else. The salon is always completely clean, and I am always seen very promptly. The treatments they offers are second to none and I leave feeling relaxed and beautiful! I would highly recommend Dawsons Hair and Beauty Lounge to all my friends and I have!

Dawsons has a very welcoming and friendly atmosphere. Bella does my hair on a regular basis, and her and all the team are lovely. I’m always happy with my hair when she is finished. My last visit in particular, I cannot praise the staff enough. I wasn’t feeling very well half way through my appointment and I passed out. Bella and Hannah went above and beyond to make sure I was ok, dropping everything! They were so lovely and put me at ease. Even popping to the shop to get me some sugary snacks! Thank you so much for looking after me, and for always doing a great job on my hair! Would highly recommend Dawsons!

I recently visited Dawsons and I couldn't be happier with my experience. The stylists were incredibly friendly and professional, and they took the time to understand exactly what I wanted. The salon itself is beautifully decorated and has a very relaxing atmosphere. But most importantly, my hair looks amazing! I highly recommend Dawsons to anyone looking for a great haircut or color. Love coming here, everyone is so friendly and helpful.Harley cut, colours and styles my hair. She is so knowledgeable on all the products and we always have a discussion on what she is going to do that day.My hair looks amazing when she has finished, she makes me feel a million dollars!This week Maisy also did my eyebrows, I had the hybrid treatment (tint & shape) Wow, just wow! They look incredible, and the treatment is so relaxing, Maisy made me feel so comfortable I literally nodded off! So basically I’ve spent most of this week flicking my hair and raising my eyebrows at everyone! Thank you Dawsons!

This is a fabulous salon no doubt but was very disappointed to be called by the salon owner saying she wasn't willing to do my colour because I had expressed (polite I must say) concern at the under par customer service I had received. When a salon cannot listen to its clients there something wrong. I was extremely polite but expressed disappointment that they wouldn't allow me to even BOOK an appointment (paying in advance) until after my patch test. I totally respect the need for a patch test. It's important and I wasn't side stepping that. I simply wanted to book a follow up appointment for the colour itself so it was in the diary before appointments for booked up. There was no financial risk to the business but the owner was rude and unhelpful. I have taken my business elsewhere and wish the salon all the best but for me, when you're rude to customers there's no excuse and rude to staff too. Poor junior staff berated for most of my last appointment for cooking seemingly smelly food in the kitchen. The poor girl was mortified
