Greek based owners and lovely service. Not too busy at 1630hrs. I took half a kg of baklava 7£.Lovely when warmed up and with coffe or tea.

Amazing service by a beautiful young woman very attentive. Lots of options and couldn't help but go in after smelling the produce from the outside, I bought a cake to take home and it didn't make it there so I had to go back to buy another it was so delicious I definitely want to go back for lunch

Coffee and Toast surrounded by the aroma of fresh bread in the morning, excellent. Pleasant staff and good food. Brilliant 30 mins spell before work. Great stuff.

Lovely independent bakery AND CAFE. Has the widest range of any bakery I've been to to date. French pastries, warm English meat pastries, Greek and Mediterranean sweets and pastries, Samosas and Asian sweets, Cakes and bespoke cake orders, Deli Sandwich making, Cheeses, American pastries, Breakfasts and hot and cold drinks. I'm sure that's not even everything and I've probably missed some things.

I used to purchase food from them regularly and recently I have passed by and bought some Greek biscuits, which are among my favourites. Was shocked to hear the prices for them. Even the man selling them to me said that they are expensive. They used to cost less, several years ago. The food still tastes as delicious as before. I hope they lower the prices back to how it was before. Bless everyone. ❤️❤️❤️

Perfect place to have a quick bite. My chicken and cheese ciabata was excellent.

April 23rd St George's Day and there was a sign stating Lamb dinner on a menue board.Of course because St Geoge was Greek and it's a Greek Bakery offering home cooked bread of all types and sizes but it was the dinner that tempted us. There are cakes to have you drooling over and items in jars and packets on sale.We opted for the Lamb dinner which was plentiful and tasty followed by a coffee a tea and a cake but it was also the service we received from the friendly owner . Most of the customers were British buying bread cakes and other groceries.We purchased a black olive loaf we shared when we got home and it was delicious We hope to go again soon.

Fabulous and well filled crab-stick and salad sandwich prepared in front of me, plus an excellent coffee, served by friendly and smiling staff. Meaning that I will certainly come back when I'm in the area in future.Surely that is what being in business should be all about.Other companies could learn a lot from the standards of Sophocles Bakery.

Wonderful place to get your morning coffee and choose from an impressive display of fresh bakery items.If time allows , the staff are delightful to talk to.This bakery is in the Peckham neighborhood.
