Yesterday we received a leaflet through our door in Market Rasen advertising various items in the ' sale' at Rasen Hardware & DIY . As we are decorating our hall, landing and stairs at present the stairs ladder at £55 seemed a bargain. My husband has just been in to buy them to be told they aren't in store and if we want them ordered in it will be another £30 on top???...some deal that is...We will stick to B&Q in future, where the price is the price advertised and won't be returning local again.

After failing to get the Dulux bathroom paint we wanted at B&Q in Lincoln (or the Dulux Decorating Centre) Rasen Hardware came up trumps after a quick phone call. They mixed up exactly what we wanted and had it ready by the time we returned from Lincoln. Very happy with the prompt service we received.
