Littleborough Home

This is a great care home as staff really care about the residents health and wellbeing, and I felt safe knowing my dad was well cared for. He spent the last two years of his life here (he sadly passed two weeks ago) and it was so reassuring to know that staff loved and cared for him throughout his time there, and kept him safe and happy. Staff took the time to get to know him, and were very patient, so they were able to keep him calm and happy regardless of his wandering, loss of ability to communicate meaningfully, and other issues. His health was closely monitored, and conditions very well managed, and I could relax knowing that if anything was wrong I would get a call immediately. The home is clean, and safe for those who like to wander and have dementia or similar conditions. Throughout COVID communication was great and even when visiting was not an option (at any home), I wasn't worried as I knew he was being looked after properly.

I cannot praise this home highly enough! My mum has been here 2 years & the care she receives from the Majority of the staff is exceptional. I can relax knowing she is being cared for in such a professional manner. She has Alzheimers & the staff just know how to look after her & deal with her little ways. After a recent stint in hospital I knew that when she got back to the home she would start to be herself again. I'm not going to mention staff names as I don't want to miss anyone one but so many of them care for her in such a compassionate way. The kitchen staff are amazing & the cleaner works so hard. A truly wonderful home. Thank you.
