Halfords - Bristol Eastgate

I bought an electric bike and Annabelle was incredibly helpful. She went above and beyond her role, not only clearly explained how to use the bike but also how to maintain it and protect it. Additionally, she suggested a care plan for the bike and did not try to push any other products which I really appreciated as I often find myself frustrated with being coerced into buying stuff I did not ask for. Cycle back was a bit wet due to rain, but otherwise smooth and clear. Thank you for a great experience!

When I bought the bike with my five year old on Friday the staff member I engaged with was incredibly useful and all was well. When we returned to collect the bike on Sunday however the staff could not have been ruder - it was a massive inconvenience that we were picking up a bike we'd paid for. It's a real shame to have staff working in the kids section who don't want to deal with parents or kids.

I booked a WeFIT for a new battery on my Vauxhall Vectra this morning. The WeFIT was carried out by Paul, and I just want to let you know that he went above and beyond just replacing the battery, and took extra time to get a replacement part for the new battery to be fitted. He was very polite and I hope he gets credit for such a great job :)

I have a small camper, called in with this to have a radio and especially speakers fitted. I was told to make an apptmt for an assessment, waited 3 weeks for this.Yesterday i made the 50m roundtrip, just to be told that they do not fit speakers, i needed another appointment (after jan 2024) at Brislington, other side o f Bristol, to get speakers done, then come back to Eastgate to do the radio. So i had been made to waste a day, a 50mile roundtrip for nothing , and when i lost my cool they did not see why.!! Whatever happened to customer service, talk about total lack of coordination and ability to assess and see the problem...WHY had they not told me in the first place to go to the other store who CAN give me the service i asked for ?? Just a total waste of my time and my money...Halfords, find another customer, i will never shop with you again, after 20 years of doing so...Totally disgusted !!!

I had bought a bicycle for work from Halfords and had gone to the shop to collect it. The assistant checked my receipt and looked it up on the computer. He told me that he'd go and get it. He came back a little while later with the bike. He checked the bike over. He then explained about booking an appointment in 6 weeks time, just to get it rechecked. I asked about changing gears as the last bike I had, I needed to backpedal to change gears, which he then explained that I didn't need to. Just to change the gears on the handlebars while pedaling.

Lovely purchase of Cross X Carrera cycle. Happy with the product and happy with the service. The gentleman I dealt with at the Bristol store was very helpful, professional and knowledgeable. The only slight issue I had, was the lack of communication regarding confirmation of the completion of the build of the bike. However, the bike was ready for collection on the day I was advised, and I probably would've eventually received notification of this. Overall I am happy with the service, and I would highly recommend.

I visited the cycle workshop in order to replace the freewheel on my old faithful Dawes.Bob was able to advise me on parts to purchase and went above and beyond to help and advise.Many ThanksJon

Service is always good. Always helpful quick and friendly. However I paid £40 to get my car fixed and had to pay a further £40 which I wasn't happy with. I understand why I was charged twice however I could have got a new windscreen for a similar price

I was here last week to pick up my electric bike that I bought online and Annabelle couldn't have been more helpful. I needed to buy a lot of accessories and she dedicated a lot of time to helping me make sure I got the best quality kit for my bike whilst also staying within my price range. She was very knowledgeable and provided great customer service. The team also fitted my new mud guards for me which was incredibly useful as I definitely couldn't have managed it myself, as well as providing a full explanation on how to operate an electric bike. Thanks to her, I'm now fully kitted out with everything I need for my new bike and can enjoy riding it with the knowledge that I can always come back to the store, should I need anything
