Plenty of parking, could eat at the lodge but we chose to walk over the road where there were loads of food choices plus a cinemaRooms clean and bed comfortable. Had a lovely hot breakfast, but plenty of choice if cereal or fruit was wanted. Staff friendly and helpful. I WOULD STAY AGAIN

Get cleaners that clean, prepare rooms in a tidy and clean manner and sort out the “ongoing” issues that were being discussed at reception. If you want to know how to do it… walk the 3 mins to the premier inn on the other side. Wish we booked there again...08:30 seems to be the bin collection time, so don't plan on sleeping past then.Floors and walls are super thin, probably expected in a 2* budget hotel but with the other issues I wouldn't stay again.

I was a little disappointed with this room considering it is one of the up graded hotels, it had terrible squeaking floorboards outside the bathroom, no air conditioning, extractor fan in bathroom not working, bathroom door did not fit properly, no bath mat, no toilet brush, minibus unloading outside our bedroom window at midnight. Not very good overall.

Hotel is all good, great location for eurotunnel, room clean. Only issue was noise from other guests outside, we was on ground floor, also the room above us you could hear them moving about all night

This is not the best or the worst travelodge we have stayed in. For us, it is just a place to sleep and shower, but even so, we still require a certain standard to be met. On arrival our booking couldn't be located and the reception staff came across as a little inexperienced. I can't say he seemed enthusiastic to be there.Our room was in the opposite block, and on entrance, we were welcomed by a pile of dirty bed linen and personal belonging, giving the impression the hotel was being used as temporary accommodation. The room was average. It is fairly warm so ideal if you feel the cold. I can't imagine what it might be like in summer as the car park was right under the window. You do have to, therefore, keep the curtains closed as there are no nets. There was plenty of parking, but further away from the hotel, you could feel vulnerable. There were also people smoking weed around the back. Surrounding the hotel there are plenty of places to eat, Pizza Hut, McDonald's and the Beefeater. There is also a leisure facility and cinema.The location gives good access to the M20 for Ashford Designer Outlet, Canterbury, Dover and Hythe. All in all if you can be open minded and you manage to get a cheap deal it's fine but it really is a no frills hotel through and through no matter how much paint they put on the wall! I would rather they focus on their Customers experience.

I had an absolutely dreadful experience at the Ashford hotel. My employee stayed there, and it was a complete nightmare from start to finish.When they checked in, everything seemed fine. But things quickly went downhill. Fruit flies infested her room, which she reported along with other guests. These pests then turned into drain flies, and the hotel did nothing about it.She had to resort to buying fly traps and air fresheners to manage the situation herself. She even got bites on her legs and face, probably from those nasty drain flies. The hotel's cleaners seemed oblivious to the issue until it became unbearable.When she finally got moved to a different room, her problems persisted. The hotel ignored her requests for basic cleaning services. It was a horrifying experience that caused her pain and anxiety.I wouldn't wish this ordeal on anyone. The Ashford hotel's negligence and incompetence ruined the stay, and I can't in good conscience recommend this place to anyone. A one-star rating is generous considering the terrible experience.

For Eurotunnel this is a very handily placed budget hotel.The room itself, a family one, was perfectly adequate and beds were comfortable. However, despite no-smoking signs, the smell of stale cigarette smoke clung to the carpet and curtains...most unpleasant.In common with most budget hotels the walls are paper-thin and every inconsiderate fellow guest, every door, every conversation, every DOG YAPPING(!!!) conspire to make your stay a miserable one.Also, staff congregating outside the front door blocking your way as they enjoy(?) a ciggy break leaves a bad impression.Must do better...but I don't suppose they will.

The lift didn't work, no soap in the bathrooms, the soap dispensers didnt work, there was a stain on the duvet cover and sheet.The staff were great and changed the bedding immediately, after I mentioned it.

Spent last week here . 3 different bookings over the week as situations changed and payed double advertising rooms prices. Clean room staff helpful and polite.Good nightime entertainment facilities within 5 min walking distance some 24hr open.Safe feel to the place overall good stay .
