I brought my rabbit to Village Vet Milton for an emergency appointment yesterday. We were seen quick, the staff were lovely and helpful, our vet Carol were amazing. The treatment that he was given worked well and he is now eating and back to normal. Thank you so much from Snuggles.

Writing this review from a while back. My dog was very poorly, foaming at the mouth, vomiting, coughing and kept collapsing which was a very traumatic time for us. We took him to the out of hours emergency vet in Milton and was barely greeted by the staff at the car park. First question asked was what was wrong with Monty, and second question whether we were insured. They were more interested in the answers for the latter and the money side of things. What turned out to be a simple, common illness (kennel cough), being first time dog owners, the vet should have already known how common the illness was based on the symptoms described. Instead the vet insisted that they do further tests, putting our poor dog under with tubes down his throat unnecessarily. They found nothing wrong with him, concluded that it was kennel cough and left us with a hefty bill.

Our 8 year old beloved Boy Buddy had cancer and deteriorated suddenly. We made the decision that he could not remain in pain for a whole night until our practice opened.I was initially concerned that his own vet would not be there at his end but I can not fault the excellent, compassionate and loving treatment my precious boy received from the vet on duty. A heartfelt special thank you to Philip Miles

This vet is allegedly 24 hrs, however if you have a medical emergency on a weekend forget it! I rang Milton at 5 a.m on Sunday morning because I thought my 10 month old puppy was going to die and they sent me to Whittlesford at 9 a.m! We got there early, but no vet just a nurse who didn’t know we were coming? Our dog died & we got no explanation, it was a complete waste of time, however all they wanted to talk about was money and they hadn’t done anything! For run of the mill stuff that you don’t need to be very qualified they can probably pass adequately, the girl I spoke with was foreign and I am not sure she even grasped how worried I was! I would give no stars, but unfortunately you don’t get the option……

I had to take my dog Hugo for an out of hours appointment. Unfortunately we found out Hugo had an inoperable tumour. We had to make the decision to put him down All of the staff were fantastic. They made time for us to say goodbye to him.It was a very hard time. My dog was looked after & cared for throughout. Thanks for the compassion.

If you are going there with your seriously ill pet, it is better to let it die at home. In this typically profit-oriented place, it does not provide proper help, causing the animal to die and then further harming the animal's carcass and your wallet. People without competence, principles and honor.

Took our boy to this emergency vets (Not our normal vets)With a possible blocked urethra had to wait in the car park for an hour before being let into the practice by a snappy, stressed vet.She assessed our Tanian and took him through for tests for the night and told us to ring around 6.30am.We rang to be told she couldn't unblock the blockage and he needed an urgent operation at DWR in Newmarket. We got dressed and picked him up to take him to DWR, as soon as he came out we noticed his left eye was milky white!! As soon we got to DWR, they also noticed his eye so they assessed his eye to. And the only explanation really is blunt force trauma because any thing else would have shown it's self sooner. Our boy is now blind in his left eye with no explanation from Milton vets as to what happened. We have emailed the practice with no reply and no acknowledgement of email sent

I love this vet. They went the extra mile for my dog Koda. We have been having the hardest time getting her paperwork ready to export and move her to a Japan with me. Initially had gotten a new rabies certificate because the USDA is very strict and requires blue ink signatures for vet official documents. Then, this document got stuck in US customs and wouldn't arrive in time before our projected flight.Village Vet Milton has been so understanding and helpful. They took the time to make us a brand new pet vaccination card and MFR letter stating all of her rabies details. This saved me literally thousands on changing flights to Japan and a half-year of quarantine for Koda in Japan.Thank you so much Dr Vetter and your team for helping reunite my dog with me in Japan. I can't thank you all enough for taking all the time you did and not charging me anything more for the paperwork. I really loved this vet and would recommend anyone to take their precious furry family members there.Troy
