Data Doctor

My western digital passport stop working. After data doctor diagnosed the fault, the hard drive had weak heads. They replaced the heads on the drive and all data was recovered.

Awesome service, had an internal SSD fail whilst in use - lost lots of Ableton music projects, dreadful! Data doctor said to bring it in and they'll take a look and show me what is salvageable before any money. After a couple of hours he showed me and everything was there!! Stephen then drove me to PC world so I could buy a new SSD and he could directly copy the image onto a new drive and I'll be back up and running straight away! Waiting for the copy to finish now, great experience so far, well worth checking out what these guys can do if you're in the awful situation I was. So pleased! - Edit: Took the new SSD home and plugged it in - everything back to normal!!! Windows loads with all programs it had before - Excellent Service!!!

I just got my computer repaired by these guys and I can't praise them enough! They fixed it in a record time of 2 hours, now working perfectly. Excellent customer service, extremely honest advice, lovely people and reasonable price. I wish there were more stars to rate them!Many thanks,Veronica

For next customers, please be aware that when you fill in the customer information forms, there will be £97 fee charged for device check. It is written on a small line and you could easily skipped through it, also when instructing me to fill in the form, the staff didn't mention that fee too. I mistakenly formatted my SD memory card and the staff didn't tell me the price when I brought it in, he said he will let me know when they start scanning it and see if they could recover the datas I wanted. After filled in the form, I was told that the price is £350, they said that is a well-known fact that £350 is the cost of lost memory recovery. However, if it is a 'well known fact' as they said, why didn't they tell me that when I called before to ask for the approximate price or when I asked them again when I arrived at their office or even before I filled in the form. I didn't get charged at the end as they couldn't find the files I wanted ( I formatted my card and I took more photos with it, they could only recovered the photos taken after I formatted). But I am writing this review to let next customers aware of the fees they might be charged.

Stephen was very professional and knowledgeable. I found his reviews on Yelp and they were very positive, and so, after speaking with him several times I concluded the same. He was able to recover and save my drive with my critical data on it. He was responsive, honest, and his price was very fair. He even offered to do the initial diagnostic for free to see if he could even fix the drive. I'm glad that I took my very important external hard drive for him to fix, he's the best!

I had my ssd drive not being see on my msi laptop. I took it to data doctor the removed the ssd . They replaced a damaged capacitor and now my ssd drive and now its working.All Data was there and ssd fully working . They advised me to make a full backup just in case.I would recommend data doctor.

Took my device to these for repair, was told to buy two drives myself from Amazon which I found very weird. They then told me no data was recoverable. Taken the drive elsewhere somewhere more established and they have deemed their repair" as 3rd party and that there is dirt and damage on the drive which wasn't there previously. 100 percent do NOT recommend data doctor. Plus in the 4 weeks my device was with them

Data doctor were fantastic. Before going to data doctor, I had taken my damaged memory stick to two other places. The first, rapid data, quoted the work at nearly £600 and the second was unable to recover the data. I was worried everything was lost! I went to data doctor and they were very straight with me telling me what they could and could not do and exactly how much everything would cost. I went with them and within days they had recovered all of my data. I ended up paying a third of what rapid data had tried to charge me. Can't recommend enough!

Excellent data recovery service! My Macbook crashed, and Sam and his team recovered all the data. The prices are very reasonable for data recovery, and their customer service is great. Very quick too - my computer was ready for pickup within a couple of hours! I highly recommend Disk Doctors. Years' worth of work recovered.
