They came out to look at my car - the mobile “expert” was there for about 10 minutes with a handheld diagnostics machine - he told me he needed more information on the vehicle. I expected this meant he would have to go and do some research in his van but next thing I know is he’s driving off! Two hours pasted and still heard nothing! So I decided to call the garage who told me they were getting information from the manufacturer well this was nearly 2 months ago and guess what I still have heard back from them! Appalling service! The receptionist couldn’t care less if she could help you or not - the fact there mobile expert didn’t explain anything and drove off just bewilders me! Customer service is something that should be at the forefront of any customer facing business but apparently not if you are this business! Stay away if you can!

Took vehicle to them, fixed one problem then they broke another part and they refused to fix it. Engine light appeared again and now will not fix. Demanding more payment even though it was working before they saw car.

I took my Ford Focus here after the nearside headlight stopped working. Prior to this, I had taken the car to Halfords thinking one of the bulbs had blown. The assistant at Halfords stated that the bulb had not blown but the problem was the bulb connector. OVE quoted me £144 to fix the problem. I felt this was very expensive so I asked was there anything to pay if I took the car elsewhere. The receptionist stated that I had to pay £60 for the fault diagnosis. I felt this was very unfair. I don’t believe a garage would of charged me this. I decided to let them proceed with the work. When I came to collect the vehicle I turned on the headlights and the nearside headlight didn’t work. After informing the receptionist they set about putting things right. They stated they had fixed the fault and the bulb had blown when I turned on the headlights. I told them that the blown bulb was a Halfords product, not a standard bulb. I purchased a pair of these bulbs from Halfords because they are a lot brighter than the standard bulbs. OVE stated that they are illegal. I don’t think Halfords would sell an illegal product. I asked OVE to fit the standard bulbs which they did but now I have to pay for another aftermarket bulb from Halfords. They were £50 a pair. On the invoice it statedH7 low beam connector £15Electrical sundries £15Technical information £15under ‘advise’ it statedFound to high resistance at bulb holderRequires new bulb holderSolder in new connectorIt appeared from reading the invoice that the original fault, the bulb connector had been fixed. It stated that a new bulb holder was required. I asked OVE if the bulb holder had been replaced. They stated that it had and showed me the old bulb holder. I’m not sure if what they showed me was a bulb holder or not, I’m not a mechanic and just took their word for it. If the bulb holder had been replaced, why was this not stated on the invoice.I just found the whole experience confusing and felt that something did not add up. I found OVE came across as dishonest and their pricing far too expensive. I won’t be using them again.

We’ve used them for our Skodas and a 1997 much loved Lexus for 20+ years and will hopefully continue to do so for all aspects of mechanical and electrical work. The service is as 5 Star as their consistent skills.

Do not use this garage very rude owner and staff, took my van to get bsi repaired as headlights didn't work, said they could fix and program one, got phone call after few days to say they now don't fix second hand bsi boxes, came to collect and a big surprise bill of £300 for a diagnostic and labour to tell me bsi not working. Not helpful with any advice but quick to take money. Got in van and realised my fuel gauge no longer worked which was working before I took it in, i even filled up with more diesel and still not working, they were quick to blame me and said it was like that when I took it and what should they do,after me paying a lot of money they wanted to charge me again to look at the problem they caused and didn't offer any solutions. I wish I read the bad reviews before coming here.I now have a van In worse condition than when I took it in and £300 out of pocket.AVOID

Absolutely first class service. Mice nested in A Class Mercedes wiring. Usual garage said repair was impossible. Car would be a write off. They were wrong. These guys worked miracles! Job done in a day and worked perfectly. Knew what they were doing and inserted patches. Very reasonable charges. Could not have been nicer to deal with. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and recommend. 5 star service!

Did a diagnostic on my car, charged me £60 for approx 5 mins work, then car was booked in to resolve, i then drove car to Carterton left car with them and was on the bus when i received a call to say they could not fix my car, very disappointed and annoyed i wasted my time, their comments when i asked for my money back was it had cost them, will not be using them again, they where recommended by a very well know local garage and i will make them aware of this.
