A solid coffee and friendly staff. Flat white foam wasn’t award winning but still very pleasant.

Love the store! Great selection of fresh baked bread and cakes. Go early if you want a croissant. The coffee in store is absolutely delicious. They have a great selection of local food from cheeses, butter, milk, fruit, veg nad eggs to the more exotic fare including a great range of pasta and sauces, spices etc. The staff are wonderful and very helpful. Join the shops reward card scheme and each month you'll get a yummy goodie to try. This month was a delicious chocolate tart.My only issue is that the store is very difficult to navigate in a wheelchair.

This review is about the sandwich bar. Hopefully it will help someone else navigate it.Last week my husband had a delicious ham and cheese roll. He was told that sandwiches can be made to order.Today we both went, different staff serving. He had the same roll (happy days). I asked for a tuna sandwich. No, we don't make sandwiches to order!!So for the uninitiated, you can have your choice of four cold fillings on a roll or baguette. Or, you can have your choice of 3 other fillings in a sandwich to be toasted. Or you can have that sandwich untoasted. But woe betide you if you want a cold roll filling in a sandwich.My untoasted bacon and brie toastie was delicious, although taking the rind off the bacon, cutting the sandwich in half and giving me a paper napkin would have made it even better.The price was very reasonable for the high quality ingredients.

Beautiful food store with a lovely selection of goods. Excellent Christmas cake, sold by the slice. Delicious Lamington.

The shop was quite difficult to find. We had to ask the hungry guest butchers for directions as that's where google maps sent us. We found after a walk around the entire village, the shop is actually located around the corner on High Street. As for the bread they look incredible but when we actually ate them we were disappointed. The apricot and cranberry loaf was void of any fruit and the caramelised onion bread was so tasteless we ate biscoff spread on it. Not sure how fresh they were either as they were both quite dry and teeth-pullingly chewy. They're potato loaf was nicer and we also enjoyed the olives and vine tomatoes (as they helped moisten the bread). The only reason we returned was because it was the only bakery we could find near by that was open. That was our experience but the shop did look impressive and I'm sure it had lots to offer: just keep away from the bread if you have dentures!

A fantastic selection of healthy and specialist foods, and their homemade dips and breads are wonderful. It's such a pleasure shopping here. Great service. I'd love to see some vegan cake/pastry options from them.

Been a few times, really lovely shop with great products and friendly, helpful staff. The coffee here is great.

Fantastic selection of products. The organisation though leaves a lot to be desired. No dedicated staff to a particular area, so they wander from one thing to another meaning customers are served out of turn. One customer had the affrontery to help themselves to a wrapped bread product and was firmly put in their place. If the owner reorganised the shop and layout and staff they might get more returning customers.

Pre Christmas shopping visit. Outrageous price gouging. For example an 18cm in diameter tin of xmas chocolates (poor quality chocolate, all the same) cost £28.90!) Pannetonne of exactly same size and quality as M&S priced at £27.60 - £11 in M&S. We understand the concept of profit but this pricing is extortionate in relation to the quality of the products. Be aware, check the price tags!
