From the very first phone call with Caroline, through to the care and compassion she showed when supporting my family, they have been incredible.This has been an incredibly difficult time for us, and the way Caroline helped us to make the right choices for mum was amazing. She comforted us and guided us wonderfully, and the rest of the team have provided incredible service to ensure everything was just as we wanted and impeccably done.Without hesitation I would recommend Francis Chappell at Catford. I found losing my Mum obviously one of the hardest periods of my life and the thought of dealing with my first funeral just made that even scarier. I chose Francis Chappell & Sons in Catford, with Caroline being my point of contact. She is without a doubt, one of nicest, most caring and helpful people I’ve ever met in my life. From the initial meeting, I felt like I had someone to support me, answer my questions and give me honest advice about whatever I needed help with. The empathy was truly touching and I felt lighter after any conversation.Every aspect of the arrangements felt simpler for having Caroline and the branch ready to take a call or email. I never felt like a ‘customer’ but someone being cared for and aided in making difficult arrangements, decisions while still mourning.The day itself was smooth. The celebrant Mike Faun, again chosen with the help of Caroline was a great match and was again someone I can’t recommend highly enough.
