England Kerr Hands & Co

After reading other reviews I decided to go with ‘England Kerr Hands & Co’ to deal with the sale of a leasehold property. It was a fantastic decision, as everything was spot on. Tina Conway was very helpful and friendly during the whole process. I hope to use them again in the future. Highly recommend.

It's difficult to find a good efficient conveyancing solicitor. In my experience last year I have found one that I can honestly recommend very highly. Tina Conway of England Kerr Hands was superb. Very friendly and very efficient. Despite 3 aborted sales she handled the process efficiently and in a timely fashion. She could not have been more helpful and her communications was very professional and prompt. Personally I wouldn't use anyone else in the future. Their charges for the work they did on the 3 abortive sales we incurred were very fair and reasonable. I cannot sing their praises more highly and have absolutely no hesitation recommending them to anyone. Subsequently I discovered that Tina had worked for some close friends on a couple of occasions and they were equally happy.

I have used several conveyancing solicitors in the past .I have not been happy becuase the direct contact with the solicitor is lost either through remote call centres or call back when i am busy ,in other wards focused on their own needs rather than the client.I have found this firm to be efficient,friendly and approachable and client focussed listening to your concern rather than process driven.Great service from Jane ,tina and above all from vicki.A safe pair of hands

We dealt with Tina and then Peter for our house sale and purchase and they thoroughly disappointed. First of all Tina managed to send our buyer the property forms that were a year old and incorrect, as well as the previous sale contract including the price that had been agreed with an earlier interested buyer.Peter repeatedly chased our seller’s solicitor for documents that they had already supplied both in hard-copy and attached to emails and tried to bluster his way out of it when we pointed out his mistake.We were dealing with a completion date requested by both our buyer and seller that they both insisted could not be moved to a later date. Despite this Peter made no effort to ensure we exchanged in time and seemed surprised when we ended up having to exchange in a rush in order to meet the completion date. The other solicitor wanted just 3 days between exchange and completion and Peter wasn’t worried because we could just move the completion date. No we couldn’t! We only exchanged at all because my partner and I wrote a stern email to the other solicitors and made him forward it on as clearly he wasn’t going to bother to do anything to help. And we got charged £750 extra for that.Awful, awful experience. I don’t know what the other solicitors in the firm are like but i would hate to ever deal with them again.

Have used the team twice for property matters, including very recently and have been delighted with the service.Peter, Tina and team have been proactive and kept me informed throughout all stages of my recent property sale.Highly recommended.
