Bristows Cycles

Needed a sealed bearing Bontrager freehub for my 20 year old Airborne. Didn't know the exact part number I needed but did know the equivalent loose bearing version I'd seen locally in Norfolk. Bristows took the time to match up the two, so avoiding any confusion. Despatched to me the same day for a great price. All now fitted and very happy.Can thoroughly recommend.

We wanted a new bike for my wife and Sheena could not have been more helpful. Unlike the bigger “chain” type shops we got individual service. It feels good to support the smaller local business too. We will definitely buy from here again and I would recommend this shop.

Popped into a different bike shop in the morning. Sat on a bike but couldn't tell if it would be comfy. The handlebars weren't quite right but the chap said they didn't have time to change them over for me to try so decided I needed to think about it. On a recommendation from a friend drove to Bristows and very happy I did. They allowed me to take the bike up and down the road to test it and also changed the handlebars for me. Good old fashioned customer service and very knowledgeable. Came away with a new bike. Have tested it on a ride this afternoon and am very pleased with it. Would definitely recommend!

Your knowledge and advice was much appreciated. I felt I received an individual service that you just wouldn't get from a retail chain. We were able to discuss my options and agree on what would best suit me at a price which was fantastic (and was actually better than I'd seen online at the time). I was treated like a valued customer even before I had purchased anything. Bristows are now my go-to bike shop for all my cycling needs.

Just made my 3rd bicycle purchase from Bristows. Dave and Sheena are always very helpful and patient. Fantastic and friendly service. Never feel under any pressure at all. They are always happy to offer advice.

Had a problem with my front wheel halfway through a cycle. Passer by recommended Bristows Cycles close by. Walked the bike to the store and despite the closed sign, the gentleman waved me in. He spotted the problem, took the bike to the workshop and was back a couple of minutes later having realigned the front wheel. Didn’t charge me for it but I’ll be repaying his kindness by booking the bike in for a full service very soon.Good karma- pass it on.

I cannot recommend this shop enough! I remember for when I was a kid I used to visit this shop, 30 years on thank God they are still there and going strong.I went in to purchase a bike and the advice, friendliness and overall customer service was second to none and I really can't emphasise how much they helped me.From my purchase decision to after sales support it was 10 out of 10 all the way.I hope anyone reading this review and is considering purchasing bike to visit these guys and support them, don't give your money to corps like Halfords who don't give a toss about you, these guys genuinely love what they do and are honest.When it comes to anything to do with bikes Sheena and Bristows will always get my money!
