Had an afternoon drink here. Haven't been here since last refurbishment and was impressed. Full of local characters, what a pub should be.

Went in fir 1st time this week. Very nicely done up. But the seating is terrible hardly anywhere to sit . More of a sports bar than anything. Drinks cheap enough. But my worst gripe is the language. All we could her was f!!king thus n f!!king that. One was by member of staff!!!!Not exactly what we want to hear.

Love this place, when it's got live music on it's fantastic. The crowd in there are really friendly, great bar staff too. Reasonable priced drinks into the bargain.

Much needed refurb has input a new lease of life into this pub. Slight layout change has opened up the inside. Good beers on tap at cheap prices. Plenty of people enjoying the place now should help keep it alive

To my knowledge this is one of only three pubs left in the Shaw area. Bar staff are friendly, fairly cheap for a pint and it has a duke box, a pool table and a darts board. Quiet during week.

Get some proper security guard, who either ID every person entering or no one at all. Because from what I’ve seen, they let their ‘friends’ in and people they’ve seen before but seem to question those they haven’t without sensible thought. Grow up he’s not your ‘bro’ bro
