Not what it used to be in its heyday sadly, but during summer it can be a great place to grab a bite to eat, get some brilliant deals from the mobile butchers and rummage around all the different stalls

Market days are becoming a rare event. The shops surrounding the market are low budget shopping. The new library is great, however, parking is limited and quite a walk.

We love the market, flea market on a Friday and usual market on a Saturday always a bargain to be had, during the 6 weeks holiday on certain days they have a free outdoor big screen on for children's movies x

We visited the market on a wet and windy day and it was the only thing that wasn't good as it is an outdoor market, but lots of stalls and all the sellers are very polite and friendly

Great place to visit, great cloth stall for all you sew'ers, in the summer they have free films for kids on giant screen, cheap local parking in asda!

Theres a few shops that are still open from Wilko to Peacocks and Poundworld. Not much for kids but a nice afternoon having a slow walk around the shops and just a short walk to the coast and ferry. Home to the newly built The Word which is great for children and adults alike, filled with a library, computers, gaming station and workshops.
