Perfect You

I have had waxing, nails and spray tans all day done by Marta in this beautiful modern salon in Carrick. Wouldn’t go anywhere else as this place is just so clean and welcoming. She will fit me in whenever it suits me and even came in on a Sunday when the salon doesn’t open to do a spray tan on me as I was going out the next day. Such a friendly salon owner and so easy to talk to. Very affordable prices and uses only the best products. Feel like a new woman every-time I come out. Thank you Marta see you in another few weeks. Xx

I would never go back to Perfect You or recommend them, I got Powder Brows by Marta which never took and was told that was part of the process and to trust the process, so I went back for my top up.. OMG what a mess, one eyebrow higher than the other and one eyebrow thinner than the other complete with different shading, she didn't even follow my eyebrow line, so I've now 2 tails on one eyebrow. After contacting Marta I was told that she would fix them but she blamed my aftercare, and told me that I should go back to the salon every 6-8 weeks for maintenance (waxing). She also said that everyone's skin is different and she can't promise perfect results at top up.You can image I didn't want to go back a third time, so I got advice from other Powder Brow professionals and I was advised to have laser treatment to remove them, as they were that bad.I went back to Marta and told her I got a second opinion and would like a refund, I also told her about the effect this was having on my mental health, this was sent to her before Christmas and I'm yet to hear back from her.I'm now in the process of getting laser treatment to remove them.

After hearing good reviews about this place, I booked in for a powder broe treatment. After this treatment, my brows disappeared and crumbled almost immediately, but I was assured by Marta that this is what happens, and just to follow the aftercare steps she recommended, which I did and the shape & colour would eventually show up and give a natural look, as that's what the treatment was so I waited. The shape hadn't taken at all, nor had the colour so the stylist was contacted about it and yet again, I was assured that after the touch up,it would all look how its supposed to and I'll be getting my money worth.So after trusting her, and paying for the touch up, bringing my total up to £250 I was faced with the same results, flakey eyebrows with no shape or colour. I understand that this treatment doesn't work for everybody but after consulting with a stylist in another salon, I was informed that this treatment wasn't done correctly.I decided to switch my stylist, hoping it would work out. And it did, the treatment worked, so I had contacted Marta about this issue, about the amount of money I spent and that it hadn't worked at all, including pictures of how my eyebrows looked after her treatment, and after I had to pay another stylist to fix her work.Instead of being understanding or any apologies of any sort, I was faced with rudeness and ignoralce, Marta blaming my skin and my aftercare,even though both times I had followed her instructions carefully, she insisted that her equipment was the best there is out there,along with the colour she used and that the person who had to redo my powder brows just wanted money out of me, not to help me fix her mistakes. She also claimed that Nobody has ever complained about it before, and I'm the first person with this issue so it must be my fault.It was extremely unprofessional and downright rude, I understand taking pride in your work but admit when you're in the wrong. I do not recommend going to this salon, or to Marta the owner specifically.
