What a fantastic garage !! My car developed a mechanical fault and I lost all hope after speaking to other garages. The mechanics at Alan Price went out of their way to diagnose my car and found the fault almost immediately. They gave me a very competitive quote and the job was done to the highest standard while I was still kept mobile in their courtesy car. They even showed me the old faulty part and explained why it went wrong. I will definitely be using this garage for all my vehicular needs and would highly recommend to all. Expert and honest advice is becoming a rarity nowadays but Alan Price Automobiles maintain these values and know how to keep the customer smiling. I can't thank their technicians enough for looking after me and my car.

Headlight failed first thing in the morning, called and got slotted in straight away. Efficient and professional service.

Again another place that does Great work. I have taken my own car plus a few others now, if I cannot fix it, they can in a heartbeat. Take your car, trust their work, nuff said!!!

I have been using Alan Price Auto Services for approximately 10 years and have had excellent service for all those years. They really are a lifeline for someone who doesnt know much about cars as they're completely trustworthy. They're always honest about the level of work the car needs and strive to charge you a fair price for it. I have total faith in the team there that whatever they say my car needs, it will be right and the car will be much improved once the work has been done. 5 stars isnt really enough... These guys are just great. You always feel your car and your trust are in safe hands. I've only just moved to the UK and was quite wary of getting some repairs to my car as I'd heard some horror stories about garages.Alan Price is the exact opposite. They're professional, friendly, communicate very well and are very frank about what a vehicle requires. I can't recommend them enough. I'd add a 6th star if I could.

Dropped my car off a few months agoKept it from 9am and called me 6 minutes before they closed to collect my car.Charged me 600 quid for a service" and to "check" my car.Was told I would get a call to get my car booked back in but been 3 months and no call.Makes sense why they don't have the staff...Didn't complete any checks and I feel like I was robbed.Would not recommend them"

Great service from these guys My Audi A6 3.0 petrol was running a bit rough and it needed a service I was recommend by a good friend of mine who used Alan before and I was amazed at the good quality customer services I received I was offered a loan car free of charge. It was TERRACLEANED which stopped the lag in my performance and also having a full service really has helped with my mpg. I'm definitely going to use this garage from now on.

As a Jaguar owner car servicing is important to me and my current car, a XF R Sportbrake has just had its first full service. This was identified by Alan as the car hadn’t had it done by previous owners and what a difference! 680 miles to a full tank for a 2.0 t diesel, never done that before.Alan and his team always treat me well and the car is always mint when it’s done. Thanks to all of you at Alan Price Autos. Currently having work done on my Z4 so, I’m looking forward to seeing how good it is.

Came here in desparation after trying unsuccessfully to fix a stubborn emissions warning light. Visited 3 garages prior to them, including BMW main dealer spending around £600 not to resolve the issue. After 2 visits to Alan Price the matter was resolved with a genuine BMW Nox sensor being fitted. They also did me an engine oil flush/change and an injector flush. The light stays out and the engine is purring. Despite a reasonably heafty bill. I was really pleased with their service and attitude and recommend them.

Alan Price is the most honest and reliable mechanic I've taken my cars to yet. I know I'm paying for a quality service at a reasonable price. I recently took my car to them with the 'check engine' light on & saved myself a lot of money by having the Terraclean service, as recommended by the mechanic (instead of a pricey new catalytic converter!). The light has stayed off, the car is running much more quietly, it has more power and is easy to drive again.Highly recommended.
