Great staff, clean and tidy but as with the current issues with dentists, it is disappointing that after 55 years of being an NHS dental patient my dentist has gone private leaving me no choice but to pay the very expensive fees as there are no other NHS dentists that are taking patients. A very sad situation to be in especially when the appointment fees have more than doubled and now have to pay in advance when booking the appointment.

Having been a patient of My Dentist for a long time. I have always been well informed on all treatment given. The staff have always been polite, helpful, respectful, cheerful and responsive to individual queries. My regular dentist whom I see, is all of the above. My Dentist is by far the most efficient and dependable Dentist I have ever had in my 70 years of life. I wouldn't go anywhere else. As all the staff make me feel comfortable and at ease. Especially compared to the dentists of my era as a lad. That's the truth Ladies and Gents. Make your own decisions. Mine is the best I ever made.

This review is based on the past few years so not just one bad experience. Before Covid and during I had numerous checkup appointments cancelled for myself and daughter. Then to be told due to not coming I would no longer be an NHS patient because of the gap in appointments. When I said I wanted to complain they reinstated me and my daughter so I booked an appointment for them to cancel again. I recently tried to make an NHS appointment to be told they no longer had NHS dentists so I booked a private appointment which I had to pay in advance for and then they go and cancel again. Absolutely rubbish service who treat patients with no respect. If I could give less than one star I would.Follow up to your response. I was informed you no longer have NHS dentists hence I had to go private. I informed the practice I had toothache but was informed I had to pay for a private examination first. I did this, you still cancelled this. So either your lying about not having NHS Dentists or only interested in profits by making people pay for an initial examination before any treatment. You had my records and as I informed you I had received no treatment since my last appointment so why pay for a new examination without treatment. Just poor service and very poor responses to not just my feedback.

Great service. Mo is a super dentist - shame he had to leave. Shanny on reception is always helpful, friendly and has always got a smile.

With regret I'm giving one star. The last time I managed to get a check up was 2019. I managed to get a check up for my daughter last year. However the dentist we were with is now only seeing private patients. I work but I am unable to pay this. It worries me that in this day and age in England you cannot get NHS appts. I don't feel we have been kept in the loop and I have had to ring every 6 months over these last few years to find out what's happening.

Only reason this is a one star is due to the polite lady’s that I have spoken with on the phone, I have been with my dentist for years and for the last year have had nothing but issues the most recent being… booking an appointment on the 30th of December for today 17th of April as that was the only one they had to be told today that nothing is actually booked even tho I have 2 messages confirming this appointment. I understand there aren’t many nhs dentist available and even tho I pay for my treatments, private is now my only option as my dentist also left. I will be going private but it won’t be at this awful dentist…..

Excellent experience after having not visited a dentist in years . Everyone from the head receptionist through to the nurse and the oral hygienist...all very caring. No one looks forward to the dentist but MyDentist really look after you.

My appointment was right on time and I felt the quality of treatment was very professionally carried out, it didn't feel it was being rushed. I'm new to private dentistry so for me it's to early to fully compare with the NHS, so apart from the extra cost it's looking OK.
