Our level 3 survey was very detailed, the surveyor called us on completion to provide a summary and also responded quickly to questions raised via email. The quality of the report was also very detailed and of good quality.

The quality of the full building survey done on the property we’re buying was excellent. It was extremely detailed and supported by lots of good quality pictures that would be really helpful. The only minor (constructive) criticism would be that even after requesting the survey from the website, I had to send another confirmation email before the survey was booked. This caused a bit of delay because the process wasn’t clear enough. This is something that could be streamlined further. However, the quality of the survey report can’t be faulted and was much better than the reports we’ve seen during our past purchase.

Good quality in depth survey. The tenant was unwilling to let the surveyor in on the agreed date and so delayed entry to the property by 2 weeks. The surveyor pulled out all the stops and got the report back to us in less than 4 days.

Second time I have instructed Allcott Associates and frankly I wouldn't use anyone else. Mr David Allcot is an expert who puts you at ease and gives really helpful advice alongside the actual report. His experience is self evident as he carries out his inspection and discusses the issues, which makes you feel confident in his advice. I have referred to him for advice regarding historical subsidence and an attic conversion project.

We paid for a full survey for a property that we have just moved in to. Very obvious problem with damp and water trickling down the walls by an electric socket and fuse box in the corner of living room that wasn’t picked up. The garden gate fell completely off it’s hinges the first time we tried to open it which really should have been noticed also. Now we are left worrying about what else was missed and whether the cracks and uneven floor we’ve noticed Really is natural and age related deviation and not something structural to be concerned with as the report says. Otherwise, well written and good quality photographs and all rooms inspected, just not as in depth as we’d hoped.
