John has done a good job providing structural engineering input to my planning and building warrant applications. The requests from the local authority have sometimes been challenging and John has been patient and provided good responses. John is a pleasure to work with, visited the site and carefully explained complicated details. I have no hesitation in recommending John and the good value he provides

I have worked with John on a number of jobs ranging from domestic to commercial projects. A great service has always been provided, would highly recommend for anyone requiring a structural engineer.

I engaged John initially for some investigatory work on a failing 2.7m high retaining wall in the garden. John was thorough and precise and explained to me in lay terms what he had found. On the strength of this I got John to prepare drawings for the repair of the wall.As JBC Engineering I then engaged John to take an active role in liaising with the builders who were undertaking the exploratory and repair work and monitoring the build. John was an excellent conduit and proved adaptable after we discovered the scope of the work required. At short notice he prepared new drawings based on what we had found and continued to monitor the progress of the build, giving me much reassurance of the quality of work.I would recommend JBC Engineering as I found John to be up to date, diligent and professional throughout.
