Very smart approach to helping people improve their lives in a way that feels much more sustainable and long-term than just shelter and food. Easy to use and donate, regular updates on the progress people are making and a method to leave comments

I like reading the stories and helping the people who I feel have been waiting while and need help to get a stable home. Unlike other charity sites where you give and then can never really know where the money has gone i feel beam is a little more personal so i like it

I've been supporting Beam for a few years and I couldn't be more proud to do it. I know that my small monthly contribution is just a drop in the ocean, but it is added to others, and together our drops become a wave and make a difference in the lives of people who need a little help. Beam is wonderful, I have been a supporter from very early on and can vouch for the way it changes lives. Not only does it give people the chance to train and earn a living but it gives so much support whilst doing so. As a contributor you can send encouraging messages to those you are helping which offers a real sense of empowerment on both sides.Long may it continue!

Beam seems to be a very effective way of helping people who through no fault of their own, need a hand. Everyone that my monthly donation has gone towards has passed their course and gone on to proper work. It is a very satisfying (and simple) way of supporting people.
