Aberglen Gundogs

Our 8 month old Lab puppy was proving to be challenging. After 3 in-depth and informative sessions with David, he is becoming an attentive and trainable Pup that we can be proud of. An added bonus is our Pup absolutely loves David and Sam. Thank you both.

Dave and Sam at Aberglen Gun Dogs have been absolutely amazing with our three lab’s. Our youngest was bred by them and you can truly see and appreciate the impressive lines he has been bred from. They have all been trained by Dave whose knowledge is second to none. We have kennelled our lab’s with them whilst we’ve been away and they really do think it’s a holiday whenever they go there. To see how happy they are allows us to enjoy our holiday and we know the training and care they receive from Sam and Dave is the best! We would highly recommend!

Dave and Sam are exceptional when it comes to their knowledge and passion about dogs. As new Labrador owners, they went through every detail with us regarding health and family background (which is impeccable), reassuring and aiding when necessary during each stage of development. They have consistently supported us with efficient and effective training tools to help our lab become the best version he can be.Dave and Sam are always on hand to provide us with ongoing boarding facilities, offer much appreciated guidance and development advice and their combined knowledge and obvious care and is second to none. Our dog Rudi has been a guest at Aberglen Gundogs since a pup, over 4 years. He stays for at least 6 weeks over a year. Rudi has received invaluable training over the years , which has certainly made our life a lot easier. He is always welcomed with love and care and sees Aberglen as his second home. We would certainly never leave him anywhere else.
