Pinfold Medical (All Saints Surgery & Field Road Surgery)

Read to the end.Had very rude message asking where my elderly father was as he wasn't home to receive his booster jab. 1. No notice of this was given. 2. He'd already had his booster, as shown on his records. 3. He had been taken to a hospital appointment. 4. Being housebound doesn't mean he has to be home 24hrs a day, 365 days a year! He's not a prisoner! Got an equally rude response when I called to explain and was told this will be reported to management! Tried to complain and was told they are unable to take complaints due to covid directives.Update: Practice manager called today to explain above. Having had a courteous response, I'm somewhat reassured.

The nurse Ms Grace or Rebecca all saints diabetic nurse is very rude. You need a bottle in humanity my dear. Learn to talk to your patients.We are also taking up this complaint with your manager.Very disappointing treated like animals in this GP

Incredibly unhelpful reception staff, had to jump through hoops for simple requests such as antibiotics, referred too 111 & ONLY THEN was my inquiry taken seriously upon the surgery being sent an email from 111. Phone line is always busy & was disconnected multiple times trying to get through, had to call a neighbouring surgery to ask if their line was working.Giving up trying to call, I arrive at the surgery to be met by uninterested, short & generally awkward reception, who seemed entirely stone like when asked to provide basic information such as when my doctor would be calling, procuring a fitness note & future appointment times. Only be sent back home for the phone consultation I initially spent the better part of 2 hours trying to arrange.The only redeeming factor of All Saints surgery is it’s doctors & nurses when you’re actually permitted to reach them, but I would save yourself the trouble of running the gauntlet of its ice cold administrative ‘professionals’ & choose a different surgery.

not really useful and helpful staff. government must close it … don’t register here and don’t come because you will not get anything on time . or even you will not get. i’m going back to my old go . save your life .

phone often cuts you off whenever you pick an option so you can’t speak to anyone, and they don’t have any phone appointments even for 2 months. can never get an appointment

Over the last few months I feel the service has improved from my original review hence my edit.Routine appointments are still a wait but Dr Allen leaves no stone unturned and gets things done. Nurses are all lovely. Its usually difficult to get my blood but the nurse was successful at 1st attempt... so I'm super impressed!!

The reception staff are rude and unhelpful. AVOID. Shame given the practice nurse is brilliant, not had any problems with doctors either, but they are damaged by the admin team.UPDATE - there has been no change to my review despite the response from the surgery below. Service is still poor. There was an instance since my initial review where I had to persist for an appointment for my 1 year old, the hospital had advised us to see the GP after breathing problems. This shouldn't have been a debate.

If you want a appointment don't bother with ST LUKES. It was a fantastic practice but since the change of owners you will be lucky to get one. If your Ill on a Friday your out of luck they work" half day well that's about as much as you would get from them and "Sorry we don't have a appointment for five days" call 111 . But if you want a medical check we can book you in there and then !!!Third world country medical practice

It’s so frustrating trying to get through when you work full time. I have constant issues with repeat prescriptions which I have to call the bloody prescription line that I can never ever get through too during the hours they are meant to be open. So then it’s an argument with the appointment line to try and get my prescription sorted before it runs out. It’s soul destroying

If you want a appointment you might aswell forget it ST LUKE'S are not bothered. If you call for a appointment don't be surprised if you get we are half day today, and to call an out of hours number. To then call this out of hours number and be told you don't qualify for an appointment. We now have to wait up to 12 hours for a call back or go to urgent care centre.
